My Endgame figure with revised headsculpt arrived here to me in the US from Toyswonderland yesterday. Even after express DHL shipping, the figure with revised headsculpt costs less than Sideshow's version with the older smiling sculpt. So I'm well pleased with that. The batteries will need to be replaced with higher quality ones, the arm lights in particular dimmed within about ten minutes. The articulation is awesome in the arms and neck. The waist and legs are are a bit rigid though, even with the improvements. There's not side to side in the ankles, and very little at all in the torso. But the proportions are dead on in my opinion. There were some issues raised earlier with gaps around the shoulder pauldrons, but mine seems really nicely designed with no visible gaps. They rest seamlessly against the arms and traps. The lighter hair is a nice upgrade to the sculpt, that gives it a more Endgame era look. I like this figure a lot, and think it's a nice balance against the Mark VI diecast which is the only other 1/6 suit in my collection at the moment.

how much did shipping cost you? I was quoted $90 to ship to Canada

I think it was around $75. The figure itself was only $360. So all in it was $435. Which is still less than Sideshowtoy's figure, shipped, with the old headsculpt.

Congrats on getting it in with the new sculpt. I am also considering getting this to go with the Mk 6, which I think bookends the MCU Iron Man design nicely. Glad to hear it does. With the Mk 46, it would be a beginning/middle/end display.

Just curious; if I'm not mistaken, exclusives and the Diecast figures from HK/Asia come with a Hot Toys shipper box. Did yours still come with one? I'm assuming they opened up the boxes and styrofoam packaging to put the new head sculpt in. Was that visibly the case?

Nice pics! I do like that sculpt. What do you intend to use for better batteries? Any replacements I’ve ever purchased on Amazon don’t seem to be any brighter or last any longer than the ones Hot Toys includes.

I’ll try energizer and see if it improves it at all. I think you can only get so much juice out of those tiny button cells though. Honestly, I rarely ever use the light up features so I’m not inclined to pay it any more attention than this.

Very clean pics Rory. I just wish they’d release the BD 85 so I can decide if I’m going to keep that order or fold and get this one. Would love to get the revised sculpt version while it’s still available

That’s a tough call. I have the battle damaged 85 on preorder because that RDJ sculpt is so good. But there’s too much “damage” on the suit for my display tastes. So this clean version with an improved sculpt was worth me checking out. When the BD comes out, I’ll have to make a hard choice. But until then, I’ll enjoy this figure.

The $70 shipping kills me but they gave a $10 coupon. About $420 shipped. I have the bd version pre-ordered but doesn't look like it will be out any time soon

Can't get enough of this figure. Great presence. It's those badass organically shaped gold shoulders. Really cool IM design. You can see how dim that gauntlet is though after just a few minutes turned on.

I've found pushing those arms and shoulders down a bit helps give him more pronounced traps, closer to how the armor looks on film. However they kinda bungled the bicep armor by stopping the gold so far away from the shoulder pauldron, leaving this big silver metal gap. Probably necessary for the bicep armor articulation, but still.

I personally prefer museum poses, as this keeps things looking more natural without any exposed wonky joints.

For no reason at all, here's the tweaks I wish they would've made to the final to get a better match to the suit on screen.

Exactly how it should be. The prototype had good proportions in spite of the inaccurate details. Disney/Marvel should have just provided the final version to Hot Toys immediately instead. I believe the needed tweaks from the prototype to the product version screwed up what should have been the best looking armor. Of course, there's the RDJ headsculpt that Hot Toys still can't get 100% down after years of doing it.
