What do we think are the chances that hot toys will rerelease the slightly updated “upgraded suit” from no way home? I’m trying to decide whether to just go for the far from home one, or to wait in case they release the newer version. Do we think there is a chance that they will do a whole new release for such slight changes?

The only reason why I haven't gotten this FFH figure is because I'm holding out for the No Way Home version of the same suit. It's basically the same but without the black on the belt, which I prefer.
Hot Toys loves releasing as many spider-men as possible so I feel like it's gotta have a good chance, right? A low-effort re-release with minor changes, I'd preorder day 1.

If this scene is supposed to be the continuation of the ending in FFH (judging from MJ's clothes)

When did peter get the chance to change to a different suit? cuz the black stripe is there in the FFH ending.

I have a feeling that the slight costume change is just a retcon that is going to happen as if the suit never actually changed, because it looks like the film picks up right where FFH left off. Anyways, i broke down and got the FFH version of this suit, because I am unsure how likely it is that they will make a whole new upgraded suit figure, especially if they’re making 2 tom suits and hopefully tobey and Andrew. But if they do make an updated version, I’ll just sell the FFH one and pick up the new one with the more comic inspired belt line. We’ll just have to wait and see

Finally got shipment dispatched from PopCultcha today for this guy.

What a long wait it has been.... o_O

Alright still working on posting pics on this new forum update, but here we go.
I tried my best to capture the colors of everything with just basic daylight shots and zero color editing.

The short of it is: It works pretty well on the HC DELUXE, but if you look real close the head is a bit more saturated red then the HC body.
Just got Spidey from Popcultcha today, he is perfect no flaws.

Haven't decided on the pose yet just quick pose straight out of the box, will play around with him later.

@ArtDamage you were right, my FFH Stark suit promo looks miles better with upgraded suit head (no color differences) Loving it!

Thanks to my lovely lady I am now a happy owner of this figure. She knew how much I liked the red&black suit and got it for my for my birthday. It looks great. A little bit of a funny wrinkle under one of the armpits but about in line with normal fabric behavior anyway. (I'm also getting a second body with some clothes to display the Peter headsculpt because I can't bring myself to drop the Spidey sculpt!)
Previously I was hesitant to drop the cash on the figure myself due to the likelihood of Hot Toys releasing a slightly modified version matching NoWayHome, but that's no longer much of a concern when it's gifted to me 😄

I do have a question. I currently have it displayed with the web wings under the arms, which seems completely incompatible with the included stand that needs to wrap around his waist. Do I have any options here besides just leaning it against the pole?

Congrats! That's a great gift!

I left him in the flying squirrel pose for some time by basically balancing him on his stomach with the claw against his upper legs. For photos, I was also able to clip the claw to his back under his armpits behind the wings, but I don't know that I would leave him like that longterm.

Yeah looks good for photos (your photos are great!) but I'm figuring out how to stand him up long term. HT didn't seem to do any accounting for the wingsuit.
I don't currently have the between-legs web wing inserted because I'm going for the more classic armpit webs look (rather than the full wingsuit look), so I should probably just get one of those hook stands that grabs the figure underneath by the balls and use one of those to stand him up.

Related note, I had a hell of a time getting his arms and legs positioned just right to fit the wings smoothly! More finicky than I expected. Before I had the figure I actually assumed the web material would be some flexible rubber so that the magnets would hold it in place while allowing for some wiggle room. Didn't realize they would be hard plastic with zero forgiveness.

By the way, for a couple years I've seen you around here wondering why I recognize you (name/avatar) and I finally figured it out earlier today. Don Murphy messageboards a decade ago.
I don't expect you to have any recollection of me (Blackout on there) because that was a decade ago and I didnt post as much, but fun fact 😁

Hahaha, that's too funny! I do remember posts from Blackout on the DM message board! Yeah that was like fifteen years ago and I'm still using the same damn avatar :ROFLMAO:

I like the Peter sculpt that comes with this figure but couldn't bring myself to display Spidey maskless, so I decided to pick up an extra body and some clothes to make a plainclothes Peter figure to display alongside it.
I should have already had the clothes by now, but twice in a row sellers on ebay have taken my order and then got back to me a few days later saying they don't actually have any stock.
Hopefully the third time's the charm, in the meantime the spider-undies are a bit awkward. But less awkward than...without. Let's just say the body's listing pictures left out an important aspect of the sculpt that I was not aware of, so now this strange picture exists.

Great photos everyone! :clap

I'd gotten my Spideys a long while ago (so many figures, so little time..) and I recently unboxed him and wow!! It's fantastic!! The suit is well done, the proportions looks good, if not spot on, the array of accessories is nice to have, and of course the unmasked head sculpt is phenomenal. Again such a well done figure and it was an absolute joy to unbox it.

Yeah good idea to make a PP kitbash!

:lol Well technically he appeared in the film like that so it can be accurate lol Say, that looks like a WorldBox body there, which do have the anatomical bits haha

I wanted to have a Spidey representation in my small Marvel display and chose this one, which after reading most of this thread, appears to be the group's consensus as the one to get.

I do have to say that Spanbauer's amazing photos really made the decision easy.

That is so cool! Love this. May do something similar since I love the gliding feature on the Holland costumes.

Had mine come in last month after payment plan with rewards + a promo code. Half price which was great. I know it's been mentioned that the Hot Toys No Way Home line may have this again, but it may just be like the Promo suit which I didn't like much. I was hoping for the Homecoming suit (surprised Infinity War didn't do one) but this was great! Such a nice figure. Was wondering though, I heard the VGM Spider-Man line may do the Homecoming/Stark Suit?
