Luke/R2 doesn't excite me nearly as much as getting Cobb Vanth, Lang, Fennec or Repainted Fett. If people want Mando Luke or R2 they can pretty much use existing figures.
The Armourer, Cobb Vanth, clean Boba and Fennec are top of my wants.

Cara would be there but it's never happening so.

Totally agree. I need to dig up the saber for my ROTJ Luke as I've already got him in the cloak with the blaster. I've got an extra R2 (Sideshow) and can use the Grogu from the deluxe Mando. With that said, if the sculpt dazzled, I'd probably still get sucked in :)

Fennec seems very likely since she's now going to be in at least three different series.

Cobb Vanth seems a likely SDCC exclusive so HT can get more use out of Boba's armour. For me he feels a bit redundant since he's quickly supplanted by Boba himself.

Vanth is a tad redundant but since I'd display him with the helmet off that alone would give him a different enough look on the shelf for me.

Visually, he would be interesting.

Just looking at a photo he has quite a different appearance (and silhouette!) to Boba.

It's just the short time frame that he kept this look, but then Kuiil didn't last long and I pre-ordered him. :lol

We haven't seen the last of him though. Olyphant has proven he plays the witty gunslinger character to perfection. It would be a shame if they didn't expand on his role.

Definitely.

Hard to tell what's going to appear on screen now, as there's always the chance of flashbacks to give a character's particular appearance more history.

Couldn't care less about Mando Luke, I'd far rather them release the updated Bespin Luke and Hoth Luke first. I realise I'm probably in the minority with this opinion.

Cobb Vanth seems such a no-brainer for a SDCC exclusive, what with Hot Toys having the armour already made. We'll likely see Cobb Vanth again in Book of Boba, just not with the Boba armour. So, it seems like a small window of opportunity for Hot Toys to make this one.

The Amorer is definitely on the table after they've shown their willingness to re-visit season 1 figures. I'd be very surprised if she's not at SDCC. I reckon she's the most likely after Mando Luke and s2 Din Djarin.

Greef Carga seems very unlikely with no Cara Dune to help push it.

Koska Reeves
I see them waiting on for Mando season 3. The WWE imaging rights might also be prohibitive with this one.

Clean Boba and Fennec Shand I imagine will be left until December for Book of Boba.

Mayfeld maybe doesn't have that iconic look yet to warrant a figure in Hot Toys' eyes. His best chance is probably a SDCC exclusive of the Transport Trooper with headsculpt. However, I doubt they'd want to hurt sales of the standard Transport Trooper, so just don't see it.

A DS Gunner re-release (re-branded as a Mando version) is feasible considering his high secondary market price.

We saw TIE Fighter Pilots a couple of times in season 2, so that's also a good possibility.

Yep, a great look that is set apart enough from Fett himself and of a unique character personality played awesomely by Olyphant. And then just imagine if they make his pod racer speeder to go with him. :drool

As far as him only appearing in one episode that doesn't bother me since he still had more screen time and dialogue than many classic icons that we all know and love (and collect) like Greedo, Wedge, Lobot, other various OT droids and aliens, even OT Fett to name just a few.

It's not so much the screen time for me, but imagining how much history he had 'off-screen' appearing like that. I generally think of my figures as existing beyond their source footage.

Maybe if I knew more about Vanth, and what he got up to between acquiring and losing the armour, but I didn't know the character at all until The Mandalorian.

Nevertheless, just finding that image of him pretty much convinced me that I'd be helpless to resist if HT made him.

Speaking of the episode that Cobb Vanth appears in that scene where the ONE hideous looking alien in the entire bar shouts "they're monsters!" is still the single funniest moment in the entire series for me, lol.

Imagine everyone complaining about the havoc caused by the Tusken Raiders and then they cut to Michael Myers from Halloween sitting at a table, in his full jump suit and mask and he shouts "they're murderers!" :rotfl

I'm sticking to Mando adjacent shows for my SW HT collecting, so I'll get Luke/R2 if they're Mando releases. I'm not going to pay aftermarket prices for previous versions. They do seem a likely SDCC combo release.

I like your list save for Lang - frankly the magistrate was more memorable than Biehn's character (but I get the attraction from a nostalgia standpoint). I'd add Koska to the list but agree they may defer her to S3 Mando. I'm a bit concerned she'll get lost in the shuffle with the BoBF and Ahsoka series coming our way. I could see her being skipped in favor of a Sabine Wren (rumored for Ahsoka).

That scene reminded me of the kind of humour in The Orville. :lol

Yes The Marshal episode had the best humor. Like Cobb and the raider arguing over drinking that shell of goo and them almost coming to blows because Cobb furiously wanted the raider to sit down. Sit down? Who tells a tusken raider to sit down, lol. You're in their camp FFS. :rotfl

Or "they might be open to some fresh ideas."

And Olyphant's deadpan "it's gonna be great."

Classic stuff.

Exactly. It's comedy done well, and it slots right in thematically unlike the way Lucas employed it in the PT.

The Mandalorian feels instantly 'classic', and gives the impression that the people directly responsible understand and really care - more so than the father of the universe himself.

Hahaha I actually laughed even harder right before that when the human dude slams his fist and shouts "They raid our mines!"

There's a Black Series figure so I don't think there's an issue with WWE. She clearly signed her rights over for that to come out. If I had to guess, she's performing as Mercedes Varnado and not Sasha Banks so that probably negates needing WWE permission.

Wow you guys sure are gonna be disappointed when there is no Cobb Vanth. Dude isn’t nearly as popular or played as big of a role as Kuiil. I don’t see him being made at all. What an overrated character. Funny how y’all are convinced for him but doubted Kuiil so much.
