Almost caught up with this line. Picked up the band audition and 2015 versions of Marty today. All I need is the Marty with the vest (“life preserver”).

Yeah, the sculpts from the first figure are better. Looks like they were going for the scene after he takes off his face prosthetic after arriving in 2015 with Marty. Seems off though.

It's probably quite accurate - sometimes an expression just doesn't 'freeze' well.

That was my guess too, the alley way scene where they dump Jennifer with all those Laser Discs.

The sculpt looks like Doc is missing the bottom row of his teeth.

I often lament that most companies only provide a boring neutral expression sculpt so when an alternate sculpt with an expression is given, I try not to complain.

I don't think it's a bad sculpt, but the pose is a little weird. Either way more is better.

I for sure will still get the figure. I’m all in on the movie figures from this line (skipping the animated figures).

Watch out for that hair! I was nervous it was going to cut up my fingers when replacing the sculpt on the original Doc figure.

This new Doc figure looks great! I was able to get a Part II Marty on sale for $20 at my local Walmart so I'm planning to get a Part II Doc to go with him. They'll look great next to each other on a shelf, just like the Part I Marty and Doc do!

The Delorean is from Eaglemoss.

It's scaled 1:8. But they still match quite well.
