I would think there would have to be some upgrades. Even some small ones would make a big difference. He was one of their very first figures and they've come so far as a company since then. I mean, I would think the body alone must be different now. The one they used initially wasn't even a stock True-Type knock off. It was a weird, barely-articulated thing. Never seen one like it before. That plus the fact that they just glued his shoulder lump to the outside of his clothes? Which was a ... choice. He's the only Asmus LOTR figure that I did any real modding with. Glad to see he's back in circulation.

The order appears to have gone through successfully but I'm not showing it under my account. No confirmation email was received, either. Fortunately, I did a print screen once it was completed but I also reached out to Asmus just to make sure all went through and if they could please add it to my account, just to be safe.

Happy to see this guy getting back out there. Would love to see them do some more baddies. My collection could always use some more Orcs and Uruks and Goblins.

Such a great figure! Glad he's available again it anyone who still needs him. Hopefully they give him the correct brown pants this time though. [emoji1787]

Maybe this is a good sign that Orcs and Uruk-hai are coming soon...

The new reissue looks to be the exact same figure. I'm surprised they didn't at least fix the eyes to be more accurate. Hope the new red underclothing is not as red as the photos.

I ordered him too! No order # with confirmation but I also paid off my other Elven warrior at same time so hopefully it all goes through okay.

Can't beat it for that price, even though its older, one of Asmus best IMO, they do so much good Orcs they need to do more.

How did you miss all the good ones?

I honestly don't know, but I think they sold out rather quickly. I did hesitate on Gothmog, as I had the SS/Weta statue of Gothmog on Warg, which is 1/6th scale. By the time I decided to go with Gurtz, he was sold out and rising in price. Now Grishnakh will finally have company.

Have Asmus ever said if they plan on making Lurtz? It's the one orc that I would buy as a figure and I'm surprised they made Gothmog before him.

They have hinted at Lurtz and Uruks saying 2021 would be the year of the orcs or uruk-hai, can’t recall exact which of those was used.

Out of stock (low stock -3)? A few hours later? Not even warning of low stock? Dear Mr. Asmus, I do hope that this (Gothmog, Galadriel, no invoices, etc.) is all a confussion that you will fix, because your reputation is here at stake.

It has been in stock for a couple days, then 7-8 hours ago Asmus made a post on their Facebook page announcing the return of the figure and clarifying it was a reissue with new paint application, limited of 100... And it was sold out within an hour.

They replied a while ago that the body is the holdup as they are trying to figure out how to make it. (Probably the same thing holding up Gollum.)
