Maybe it was just an error, or perhaps they're referring to materials used?

It'd be cool to see the Ms. Marvel suit in the films!!

Why can't Hot Toys paint blonde hair? I'm seriously asking.

I'm tempted to pick this up but I just can't deal with the brown hair. Hot Toys can paint ultra-realistic human skin, they can paint perfect little microscopic 1/6 scale human eyeballs, but they can't paint blonde hair? Why?

Then you'll be really frustrated to learn that they do know how to do it - the initial prototype was much more blonde. They just botched it in the production and apparently decided, "meh, close enough".

You're right--looking at that picture, it was a lot closer. I'm torn because I prefer her with long hair but I don't know if the character will ever have her hair in that style again.
Yeah I guess we don’t know if they’ll keep the Endgame cut for Captain Marvel 2 or go back to longer hair huh. I hadn’t thought of that.

Yeah it's a bit surprising they cannot produce correct blonde hair, as evident with the previous Thor and CA figures as well. But for me I cannot be too bothered with this Captain Marvel :) Plus, it seems they've corrected it with the upcoming Endgame Captain Marvel.

Yeah I'm curious what her look will be come CM2, I guess it would depend on the time frame it takes place. I also prefer her with her longer hair, but I don't mind her short-haired look since she rocks both in the comics.

I had initially assumed her sequel would explore the years she was off-planet, but after establishing Monica Rambeau in WandaVision it seems more likely to be set post-Endgame.

Ooof, I haven't seen WV yet, but based on that I'd guess it would be after EG. Yeah, for me I'd want a film focusing on her ventures in space after becoming CM the most.

Spanbauer, man, you should be one of the HT bloggers that receives figures first to showcase them!!

Thank you! It's quick and dirty but gets the job done at quick glance.

And Hot Toys is more than welcome to send me figures in advance! :lol
