Only 220?

My initial quote was 240, which is the regular price I get for the UK from KGH, but the final was 320.

And now I'm wondering whether by "express" they just meant the normal e-Express. Though KGH normally just write "shipping" without specifying what kind, and I imagined this might be a heavy figure like the Hellboy and put him over the 2kg limit and into 'Vantage' territory.

Yep. Global cost goes like this. 20% deposit back in 2019 (392 HKD), a balance of 1568 HKD today for a total of 1960 HKD for the figure. Shipping via HK Post at 220 HKD.

Grand Total of 2180 HKD which translates to €235 (around €245 with bank fees).

P.S. On your order back, scroll back to the bottom when your order status changes to shipped. Shipping details are updated there.

They charged an extra 100 from the initial quote, which must be the additional weight relevant to delivery to the UK.

Unfortunately tracking shows it's regular airmail, so it's pot luck whether he'll arrive in 5 days or 67 days. lol

There was something about a 2kg weight limit for regular airmail. Plus the usual Hong Kong Post EMS delivery is still suspended to the UK, so heavy parcels such as the overweight Hellboy from OneSixthKit, will be sent by Vantage (which boasts 4 day delivery).

TNS explained the new service a couple of weeks ago:

HK post has recently launched a new shipping service called 'Vantage' which can be found more info from the link at the bottom. This newly launch service is similar to Fedex, DHL or USPS, which we consider as a good substitute for EMS or air parcel (currently suspended to UK). We will be using this shipping service 'Vantage' for UK customers if their item is over 2kg.

TBA Shipping later batch :blissy

Are they charging for shipping and bumping up to EMS? That happened to me with them the last time a preorder came in. It was busy around the holidays and they said they didn't want a package to get lost or take 2 months to deliver. I didn't know if that was still the case.

Plot twist:

I just looked at the order page again, and the tracking number is different to the one they emailed me. It actually is a Vantage delivery. :) So when they said "express" they actually meant it!

Will be interesting to see how it goes.

In the mean time, i've recently learned that new customs procedures will gradually take effect starting this summer for all chinese imports. Basically, all China based sellers will have to charge VAT when selling to EU customers. Troubles coming for all of us still in the union it seems :panic:

I have only had this guy out of the box for about 25 minutes but I am extremely impressed. This is one of HT greatest hits, and up there with the V1 Mandalorian.

The details of the armor and weathering is superb, and so is the fabric costume under the armor. The jet pack and oversized gattling gun are absolutely awesome too! The articulation is a bit limited due to the costume and build of the character, but understandably so, and I'm actually kinda impressed by how much you can pull off with the nicely implemented ratcheted joints. If I had to make one minor complaint, I wish it came with a flame effect that attaches to the flamethrower on his wrist.

This is a must for a collection of The Mandalorian, a cool nod to Favreau, and likely a big time chase figure if the number of these made are as limited as what is being said.

I thought I could skip this guy and not regret it, as he was in the series for a blink of an eye and that fly-by salute was a bit cheesy but now thanks to TurdFugusonshat... :gah:

Sorry dude, I'm just calling it as I see it in front of my face:)

If you can live with the limited articulation this is among Hot Toys best work and a reminder how cool some of the stuff they make can actually be. Being a bulky figure he looks pretty vicious just standing there holding the chain gun. He doesn?t come with much, but the stuff he does come with is really awesome and unique. If you can get him definitely do it.

Paid full price up front, later batch, free ship. 260 shipped

I recall at one point standard mail was suspended (i think for Mud Trooper) and asked about EMS but just decided to wait.

I'm not a big fan of the flight poles as a permanent stand. They should include a crotch grabber post too. As it is the base they included is pretty small for Heavy Mando. I switched him over to the oversized base that came with the Skiff Lando figure which fits Paz nicely. Win win as that base makes zero sense for Lando.

I can't wait til Favreau gives Din the Ironman treatment and repaints his Beskar red and gold when he becomes Mand'alor. ;-)

Anyone know if removing the fat suit is easily done or not cause i be getting my figure soon and want to know beforehand
