Yeah he's a few hours away. Met him when I went to Ikea for a new Detolf, of all coincidences. All I know is that it's now been successfully forwarded out of Staten Island. Only similarity that USPS gave was my apartment number. I live on a uniquely named street which doesn't exist there. So it's wild it went THAT far out of range. Hopefully they've got it sorted, and thankfully I paid with PayPal if it goofs.

Then my plan is working perfectly...bwahahaha!

If memory serves, he was buying a lot of figures for a while there but never opening/displaying them due to space issues. It was a running joke for quite some time last (?) year lol...

Yeah, more or less the case.

I DO open them...I just end up re-boxing them up and into the closet they go! Like a TRUE COLLECTOR!

Haha someone sent that to me before as well. She couldn't believe I spent as much money as I do on toys. I mean, I get it...from their perspective it's looney...which it is.

Haha no, long story short, I panicked that BBTS was going to have another Yondu situation and managed to get one out of a retailer in HK for a moderate mark up vs what she'd have cost from Sideshow. I accepted that as the cost of doing business. Low and behold, the next morning she hit my POL at BBTS. So my buddy said he'd take the spare, but now that spare is quite literally across the country lmao.

Glad you were able to get your order! It seems like everyone got theirs from BBTS; I remember reading through the Yondu debacle, very unfortunate situation.

Took a few more today. Balancing her in a walking pose without a stand is a real test of patience!

Love this! Unfortunately by the time I got to taking pictures clouds started to roll in. At least I have an excuse to do more photos when it?s sunny.

Nice pics, ScoobyDoo! Your copy is the first I?ve seen that suffers the same black die bleed through the white shirt collar as mine does. Aren?t we lucky

Are you talking about those dots?

They might be sewing guides. Apparently some tailor's use heat-activated ones, possible HT does too. So if you put a hair dryer on them for a bit they'll maybe disappear. Stick her in the freezer and they'll reappear.

Holy **** that totally worked! Thanks so much, dude! I removed the vest and a few seconds with a hair dryer on low made the purple dots disappear, so that’s exactly what they must’ve been.

Hmm, that's a good piece of knowledge! I'll make sure to not mistake those dots for defects if I see it on mine.

As someone who definitely prefers to display vs hoard (sorry, I mean keep mint) I recently discovered an “advantage” of keeping some boxed. After receiving my Midas and Mk. LXXXV I was looking to setup a new IM shelf and had narrowed down my 3rd armor for the group to be either Mk. XXX Blue Steel or Mk. XXXIII Silver Centurion. Both being re-boxed, I had to dig them out and open both to decide which I wanted to display being partly like receiving new figures. Aside from the obvious reopening of previously displayed figures feeling somewhat new, instead of the usual but wonderful experience of unpacking a new collectible, this was comparing 2 figures for a different purpose, going into a different display and getting posed all over again. It is fun!

Glad to hear! Just came across this earlier this week on the custom site. I guess with the cold weather recently some packages have probably been sitting in freezing temps long enough for these dots to turn up.

I didn?t even notice those dots on my figure until you pointed it out! I?m gonna try out this method when I get the chance. Thanks to you and TonTon!
