That is the clincher. Executive Replicas doesn't have the expertise or resources to provide a real fur Moon-Watcher at Hot Toys "Chewie" prices.
My guess, if they do come out with one, is that the price would be $400+, even if just a figure with a bone. (Truly "bare-bones" figure...)

Yes, it will probably be that much as they would also have to re-tool a stock figure to get the posture and proportions right
Any news on the Clavius figure release?

Because of the virus situation, the Clavius suit was delayed as you know- BUT, that delay is coming to an end soon, and the production run could start any time. During the waiting period, two other 2001 projects have been in development. So, when the various production entities involved become sufficiently functional again, the Clavius suit plus two more items will be coming, fairly close in release time to each other I believe. (not too close, but close.)
You've heard about the flight attendants; here's a hint for the other item:
"Well Hal, I'm damned if I can find anything wrong with it."
Would be very cool to get a Bowman in flight suit. But only if they can provide a good head sculpt. (and not priced at $375+...) 
These two more items - have they been put up for preorder?

FlyAndFlight, those have been discussed, and research for the flight suits has been done for possible future release... Good guess, but no. This item will be totally surprising; it was to me. When I learned of it and started doing research for it, it "lit me up"...

Any talk of rereleasing Bowman and Poole...even without any improvements? I would be all in for any future releases but without those two to anchor the collection it would be easier just to walk away. Pass it on to Executive Replicas.

Well, they're re-releasing their 2001 Red and Yellow spacesuits but without the Bowman and Poole headsculpts and without the actual figures that go with them.

Yes! Now I can at least get the suits finally as I missed out on the originals
What else did the original Poole/Bowman releases come with that this doesn't other than the headsculpts (which didn't look great) and a body?
Be also interesting to know if these suits are exactly the same as the V.1 releases - ie you could just find a head and body to insert to complete a Bowman/Poole fig - or if there's something different about these releases that make them "empty suit display only." Like do they maybe not split in the back to be able to insert a body?
Really hoping that ER does an ape figure too, though it would be super tough to pull off.

I forgot to come here and announce these, but happy to see several of you beat me to it. What hasn't been mentioned is the fact that these new helmets include the silver antennas on the back that were missing from the original figure releases.

Can one fit the body in these easily? Which body would we need?
With the helmet on, there is no need for the headsculpt, so essentially all we need is a body to have the figure complete.

Hey Anthrapoid, I know you have been working on getting a custom Floyd sculpt made to go with the Clavius moon base suit, any chance in getting the same sculptor to do new Bowman and Poole sculpts to go with these suits?
Is there any chance that the antennas could be purchased separately in order to update our original figure releases?

I'd definitely like to get new Bowman and Poole sculpts, as I was never thrilled with the originals. Nice to see the red and yellow suits being rereleased. I know there were folks who missed out the first time, so this should both generate additional revenue for ER to invest in the line, and bring in more collectors to support future releases.
I'd like to get the helmet antenna upgrades as well, provided they're not expensive and are easy to attach.
