[Marine Boy]

Built a basic exhaust assembly from plastic tube and thick sprue runners. Most of it will be hidden, so i did not spend too much time on it.



Fitted to the rear valance.



Just visible through the cooling slots.



Boxed in the areas around the rear wheel arches, to stop light passing through the entire width of the car.



Rear underbody. The real car has the engine and chassis exposed, but since this is Bond's car, it can be sealed up.



Back end all done.

Tackled one of the more fun parts of the build and the only gadget on the model, the cement guns.

A small servo provides the movement.



The mechanism is hidden underneath, so as not to intrude into the trunk area.

Added the number plate to complete the assembly. The small spring on the left is to pull the plate closed as the guns retract.







There are also 2 small lights built in.

I don't know if you've seen this new head, by the sculptor Jonghyuk Park (@sculptor.buffy on Instagram), who did some work for Hot Toys already.

It's simply amazing IMHO, really perfect!

I've asked him, and pre order will start this week. I can't afford it unfortunately, but I'm sure some of you will be able to show us this beauty in hands [emoji16]:

I guess it's painted. It will be USD800, so, far beyond my budget, but for those who can afford it, it's certainly the definite one!

I have both Modern Life and Balloonman ones (after all, I decided to buy the latest as well), and I'll stick to them for the time being. May even decide to sell one of them in the near future, don't know.

By the way, my repaint of the BCS Connery is finally finished....really happy with the result. Not perfect, but miles better than original.

It was done by a Spanish artist, Carlos J.G. (The Laboratory FX):

Yeah that does look really damn good. Shame that the only good Craig sculpts out there cost hundreds of dollars to own.

That's a great Craig sculpt, no doubt about that... But anyone who would pay $800USD for just a head is out of their mind. Jesus Christ...

Best one i have seen so far, but i think i'll stick with my cheap as chips Eleven head.

More progress on the car. Made the switch for the cement guns, using the choke lever.





The ashtray also opens.
