Last night I saw Billy Joe Shaver, who wrote just about the whole album "Honky Tonk Heroes," which is considered the album that gave Jennings the "outlaw" image. Amazing show from an amazing songwriter. This song is about an incident outside a bar, where a guy shot at Shaver, and he responded and shot the guy in the face! Hardcore.
