I think this is the place to share this.
Basically I have been wanting to have a go at sculpting!! BUt never done any before.
Now I really like Han but don;t like the SS Sculpt. The Indy on the other hand is fab. So I am trying to give him hair.
This is is so far. Bleedin hard not knowing the heck I am doing LOL.

DG have I got to wait till its completely hard to undercoat it, Its green stuff. Or can I slap some on when its gone off a bit??

I always think its best to let it dry 1st tbh m8. Ive never used green stuff, i use milliput which dries under water supposedly. It looks good what you've done m8 it ties in nicely and the hairlines match.

I'd say leave it.
If that's Games Workshop Green Stuff, I believe it's a two part mixture? (Haven't used any for years!) The drying is a chemical reaction, so I'd say let it set first, otherwise paint might interfere.

I got my clonobi yesterday and couldn't resist messing with him a bit. I may add a black cloak to him yet as well, but for now he has a black tunic thingy and i used some other round white jobbies for it. I resprayed the belt then added some black weathering to that and some of his armour cos he was too clean. Then i painted the Jedi symbol on his shoulders. I know it might not be to everyones taste but i love it

Wellllll I know I should wait and all that jazz but hey what can I say.
Anyway, nearly there with hand wig. I have stuck him next to the Indy head so you can see what I have done. I think he hair should be a little longer at the back, but I am quite pleased as it is my first ever sculpt.
So pleased I had a go, now I can get putting huge 70s mutton chops on my stromies OOOOWWW YEAH.

OK I've been away for a few days, but the Postman never rests! (and you all know I can't go anywhere without picking up something - like a bloody Magpie I am!)

Mr D. Snow - Provider of 3xMedicom bodies, 2 sets of Medi trooper hands, 1 pair Medi Shoes, A copy of ANH Revisited on DVD (not pictured) and much jolly banter - Love ya mate!
Mr Red Robert (Crimsonbob to you lot) - For the supply of one superb Imperial R2 unit - I love this figure mate, your a star! Plus another Hasbro Sandtrooper for me to butcher... Ahem, I mean improve upon!
A big shout goes out to www.toyanxiety.com for selling me a whole bunch of Sandie bits to finish off my two kitbashed troopers.
And finally thank to FP UK, for tempting me with overpriced toys that I couldn't refuse!!! Piett and a True Type Narrow join the gang.
So finally the point of all this rambling, The true type is for a Kit bashed ANH Han solo... with no further ado, I shall begin. If he's sorted tonight I'll show you how he looks. I noticed the ANH Han image thread has bumped to page one, so I might stick him in there later on.

But yeah I had no intention of buying him, when he was released I thought - another Meh Character.
But then I find myself in Forbidden Planet, I'm surrounded by loads of stuff, Can't make up my mind what to sqander my dosh on. And Low and behold, I walk out with another imperial.

No problem mate. Let me know the exact size, if your suppling the image - Photoshop jpeg please or a hi res PDF. Actual size @ about 200dpi will repro best.
If it's a huge file bung it on a disk but my email will take pretty much any size file.
If you want me to create image, give me some pointers and I'm happy to knock something up.
Payment in droids is fine!
