I did mean the amount of time they left In between releasing the dlcs and if most player will have simply 'moved on'

I'm bummed that this is apparently the end for Geralt's adventures.
I understand 1-3 are his personal story and character arc but I don't see why they shouldn't release further full games along the lines of this one where Geralt is the hired gun.
