The Spawn thread

Just recently updated last year’s spawn figure by repainting most of it to bring it to life, and added metal chains. Still need to add smaller metal chains to the neck.

Remade my spawn lamp thing theres a before and after pic. I also got a better camera so I took some more pics, repainted my violater again and fixed the weird ankle so it could stand on its own, a few other painting bits like repainting all of their eyes, a wash on battleclad spawn, the halloween spawn outside of the lamp was fully repainted and some new figures. Really lucky I got a clown that was only $50 i think its my favourite figure so far and i got a gargoyle spawn brand new for $125 not bad considering its the same sculpt minus a different cape as the HOLY GRAIL that is the 10th anniversary figure (he has no chains atm waiting on stainless steel ones because the old had started to oxidize). Sorry for the long gibberish post!

I was wondering how Todd was gonna screw this up. Scaling the figure down to 5ish inches just because the original was small is stupid. Just release it as the proto is, at the standard 7". Even dumber, because the day prior he went on a massive rant to Pixel Dan about how much people loved the DC Hellbat and Superman Unchained figures because there was "more plastic in the package" and people saw it as good value for their money.

I agree. Also, the same plastic packaging, instead of a collector friendly box. But yes. the scale is a terrible idea.

I really hope the Kickstarter has multiple levels of rewards, including a larger version of the figure. Imagine if it were 1/6.
