I still haven't watched one episode of this. Considering I've gone this long without watching it, I may watch the Flash crossover and delete the rest from my DVR. There hasn't been much I've seen in commercials that has blown me away so I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

The Flash crossover was a fun watch. Not enough to keep me interested in the Supergirl series but it was the highlight of the season for me as far as Flash goes.

Adding Superman is pointless. They already ruined him in the 1st season. Every time they made reference to him was a joke. They literally made Supergirl out to be the better hero. Everything made no sense. Got tired of hearing how she beat foes Superman couldn't, they suggested she's stronger than Clark, Jimmy made a comment she's faster than Clark, blah blah... The last episodes were so pathetic with him being in a coma. We got to see his boots while comatose on a slab! He was affected and Kara was not? The writing is so bad on this show. My 10 year old daughter watched the 1st episode and bailed. I was hoping it was a show we'd watch together. She didn't like it. Supergirl was too girly for her (she's more a tomboy). She wanted something more serious, not another Disney channel show like all the others she watches. I stuck out the 1st season but don't think I can continue with a 2nd. And I can only imagine what terrible writing is now gonna happen to somehow merge them into the same universe... Whatever. Melissa Benoist was fantastic, her sister was great, and I liked Martian Manhunter. Everything else blew chunks. I don't know how I continued after the Red Tornado ( .. .. ) episode.
