Well the knee reinforcements on the SS pants looks like another layer sewn on top of the pants and then sewn down the side as normal, not sewn into them like that.

Not trying to be picky.

I don't think anyone is looking for exact, just close visually.

I think what I suggested in sewing a piece on top of the pants would be easiest instead of the sectioned multiple pieces like you said.

As for prices, money is made to be spent.

working on a pair of official pants...got knees done..and one pocket so far...i do have the pocket flaps ready to go as well..

and a knee shot...
these lines match up perfectly with the SSC ones...

That's kewl, I think the side pockets, knee things and belt loops are all that is needed.
