Scrawniness is a consistent flaw, both the buck and pro look horrible on tight clothing. SSC definately should have prepared two sets of arms, one set that is thin and works better in baggy clothing and one that is beefier and looks good in tighter stuff.

Pretty much everyone's base bodys are skinny, they are designed that way so they look right with layers of clothes.

Yes. Exactly, hence the reasoning for doing something innovative like coming out with special arms that work for figures with bare arms or tight clothing.

Figures are not cast all put together already. They're virtually modular. Theres no reason why they couldn't design 2 or 3 different types of arms and casted just like they cast different accessories, heads, and what not.

For Hasbro, it was actually TOO muscular that it failed on 90% of the figures.

SSC is a class above those and thus should have variety. They have variety in heights, there is no reason to not have a variety in arm build.

they are not in a class above bbi, ace or twisting... all of them make high end figures. almost always superior ones to sideshow.

Yea, but I would not want rubber wire body for Snake Eyes.

Even "massive" medi are shrimps.

How about this one? beefy enough for you? :D

They didn't need to exaggerate or give us superhero arms. They just needed to remember how crappy their past figures like Bespin Han look when in tight clothing. I think even double layering the sleeves so they still looked skin tight would have produced a less scrawny figure.
