They've done that in the past with inventory that they just can't get rid of. Simpsons busts and Buffy figures were flying everywhere at one point.

Sorry to resurrect an old and long dead thread, but I wanted to mention that Sideshow just sent me a free "sold out" Exclusive Mr. White figure along with my 1:6 Yoda figure order. Not too shabby, Sideshow, thanks!

Though it seems odd that they wouldn't have been able to "get rid of" an old sold out figure.
