The more photos I see of this, the less I actually want it. It looks more like a deluxe Mego figure rather than a high end collectible. Waiting to see a confirmation of the astronomical shipping cost before I make my final decision to cancel my EX.

What???:slap Pics look great! to each thier own opion n collection.

I have some better pics for you guys. I shamelessly stole the pose from how to be a poser. Not an easy pose to get him into, but the body is a lot more solid than any of my other sideshow figures and has better range of motion. It still not quite Hot Toys level, but its a big improvement imo.

The tailoring is great and all the accessories are well done. The eye paint is strange, but I don't really notice it much in hand. Shows up more in pictures.

I really like the packaging. The foam figure protector reminds me of Hot Toys DX figures. Its a very nice and welcome touch.

The stand looks nice, but the figure grabber is pretty difficult to use and the arms for the floating speech bubbles and Headpool could use some more length and a little flexability. The speech decals work, and is long as you are careful you shouldn't have too many problems with them. Magnets or that plastic you moisten to make stick to a surface might have been a better solution though.

Overall I'm impressed with this figure and he looks fantastic. That said, given the price, he's not for casual fans. In my opinion, without Headpool he's not worth the money so if you can't get the EX I'd be looking for a discounted purchase.

Enough of my prattling. Here are some more pics.

Kick A$$ pic's :clap:clap:rock

So is DP using the more better sculpted SSC Batman and Superman bodies?

It looks like it. Thank god they ditched the awful flimsy SSC traditional bodies that were crap and used for the Joes.

The only thing that worries me is the caption stickers. Is it true that they are hard to swap because the adhesive sticks to the base? :dunno

Oh how dramatic..just cancel it already and get it over with.

Posts like these always crack me up...like what exactly are you looking for in response?

I had the same concern which wasn't alleviated when attaching my first "sticker". But it lifted pretty easily with a fingernail and reapplied smoothly. I think if you are careful you will have no problems. Make sure to just lie it on the speech bubble, don't use any force. If you swap captions the most important thing will be immediately putting the one you are retiring straight back onto the label sheet or you could end up with gunk on the back of it.

So far my only real gripe with the figure is my left kneepad has too much elastic so it hangs loose.

When I saw your first pictures, to be honest, I thought the suit looked pretty crappy: didn't like the colour, looked like cheap fabric, stitching looked poorly done, shoes were ho-hum, didn't like how the head sculpt looked different from the suit material. However, after seeing these pics, I want to buy it again. Great job with the pose and very nice photography.

You're spot on with that comparison there Ray Charles.

I have one on order and am pretty excited to see it in person. However the one i bought is for a friend for Christmas haha. If i like it enough once he opens it i may have to order another for myself.
