I was never on the Suicide Squad hate train. It was a mess from a critical standpoint, sure, but it was still fun to watch.



One of my favourites, for sure.

I was disappointed with the HBO series' cerebral, artistic interpretation of Crichton's story and tuned into the series hoping for something more... fun, like the film. It was still good, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed it despite my aforementioned disappointment. It's an overall fantastic production.

A few clever elements lost amidst a jumble of a 1,000 bad ideas, hamstringed by horrible casting.

It commits the worst sin an action/sci-fi film can commit, it's boring.

But I'd probably still give it the same rating.
It just wasn't what I expected from The Punisher series, in a bad way.
I just hoped that it'd come full circle by the end... but nope.

I actually didn't see the Emoji Movie either (I would never pay money for it), but I think the whole idea of it is enough to warrant the "Worst Movie of the Year" award.
