Anyone looking to sell their RS Scout helmet? Just checking before I put in an order with RS.

You know how it is...when you?re married, you have to make concessions.

Yes thank you for sharing. Haven’t seen many pics of this. This will be my first Star Wars helmet, get it on Thursday.

That looks good! Is that the Quasimodo helmet? Are you happy with it?

Thanks! To tell you the truth, I don't know the lineage. It was somewhat of an impulse buy...
Covid had just really taken hold, and while I was surfing around, I found a fiberglass Vader helmet on Etsy for a very reasonable price. It had a lot of the tells of a lineage helmet, but a lot of modifications too. It almost seems like an ESB helmet of maybe 4th generation lineage modified to ANH. I can see trace indications of a larger chin vent, mohawk mods etc. That all said, I love it! The seller wasn't afraid of the paint either...something most people trying to mimic ANH applications fall short on. It has a ton of character and just feels right. Very happy with it, chunks and all!

I received my Stormtrooper helmet kit from RSpropmasters on Thursday and made a start straight away.
I?ve made some good progress last few days and pretty much have the helmet assembled.
Next up is the paint work...it looks kinda odd without the grey, black and blue detailing.
