Films that kept me up a night as a kid
1. The Exorcist (film is still the only one that gets under my skin)
2. Psycho (The music and the fact I thought it was a guys mother for most of the film really freaks me out)
3. The Sentinel (Gateway to hell was not as scary as the old man in the apartment above)
4. The Prophecy (the one about the deformed bear. I lived in the country and some of this film looked like it was filmed in my back yard)
5. Legend of Boogy Creek (just like the Prophecy, living near the woods helped this film keep me under the covers)
I saw the TV version and it scared the crap out of me... I then saw the regular version on VHS when I was 15.. I saw the Crucifixion scene and I understood why people fainted in the theaters back in the 70's It really made me feel light headed... Never seen or heard anything like that scene.
Now its all the more subliminal things that get under my skin.
