Neca has had a thing with Target these past couple of weeks. Some event with figures with low quantities being put on shelves. That might be how they got him.

NECA also sends out early samples to reviewers to get a buzz ahead of general release.

That's a cool animation, and I was lucky to catch JAWS in 3D over the weekend, there were some moments where it was really amazing to feel like I was right there in the action.

From what I've seen for a lot of manufacturers (not sideshow) BBTS arranges their own shipments from China instead of waiting for Hasbro/NECA/etc to get the products in the US and ship to BBTS to save money for themselves. So I imagine they've got containers sitting there getting filled by various manufacturers, sometimes the item is the first thing in the container and takes forever and sometimes it's the last thing they fit inside and then it seems to arrive fast.

Denim Hooper arrived today -- pretty good! The difference between the heads, though, is way subtle. Prefer the non-smirking one. Gonna pass on the scuba version, though.
