At this point it seems unlikely HT would risk low sales by jumping into a flooded market with 8 other competitors. This particular Joker does not have huge appeal. And just as likely these "competitors" already know the coast is clear so that's why they jumped in. Until the trade war is over, IP theft is going to go hog-wild.

So again, my guess is HT will wait for a sequel Joker... like they did with Pennywise.

Kind of an aside, but from Nanjin had wrote in the Star Trek thread, he made it sound like HT's only reason for doing Pennywise was to because QMx did their proto and wanted to push down the competition, and they did. QMx never even put theirs up for preorder and Nanjin is out.

I kind of want that Bullethead set, but I already have the TOP in hand, and Toys Era on preorder. I want all the accessories and the mouth sculpt, may get it and get rid of the regular Arthur, but we'll see. I don't need 3 of these guys lol.

This Joker doesn't have huge appeal? It is the most talked about comic movie this year and highest rated R film of all time inspiring lots of cosplay and made steps in Brooklyn famous. This joker has as much appeal as heath did. Leto had less appeal and we got like 3 figures that nobody bought.

I bought all three #Damaged

Granted I sold two of them and kept the Arkham Asylum. To be fair, those headsculpts were and still are amongst Hot Toys best, especially the AA one. The level of detail with the veins and the sculpt itself is incredible.

Other than the green hair and red lips, there's nothing Jokery about him. He's just gone D-Lux lowbrow with gold chains and a grille.
