''How badly do you want to see the 3D version of Avatar on Blu-ray right now? Well, it appears that more than a few people are bursting at the seams to visit Pandora in all its 3D glory again ASAP. Currently, the only way to obtain a copy of the 3D Blu-ray version of the highest grossing film of all time is to purchase a Panasonic 3D TV. The film is being bundled with Panasonic’s new (2010) VIERA VT Series and GT Series Full HD 3D Plasma TVs. Given that the 3D disc is currently only available by buying the television, some smart-thinking individuals have decided to throw their copies of the film on eBay to see what they can get, and boy are people bidding. Bids currently range from $88 to $435''

fools :rotfl

Finally watched the extended edition yesterday... I enjoyed it, but honestly the extra scenes kind of take away from the overall movie for me.

I enjoyed seeing the additional material (although the effects on a few didn't look as good); but will likely just stick with the theatrical release for future viewing.

Personally, I like the extended scenes (especially when they go to the Grace's school). My wife on the other hand doesn't like the earth scene.

To each their own.

I thought the beginning of the Earth scene was cool (showing the street) but past that it didn't do much for me. I didn't really care for the school scene either... just felt out of place as well as the twist it added being unecessary:

The death of Neytiri's sister

On the other hand I liked the extra aerial hunting sequence; and a few of the others.
