Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars.

The last 100 or so posts on their FB has been about those two Disney properties. They haven't announced or put up for order a figure that isn't from those two in a long time. Can't actually recall what it was.

So aside from some BvS figures which seems likely is that it for them? no more other figures or very very rarely other figures?

Pretty sure once Dawn of Justice releases there's going to be lots of figures. Hot Toys likes money and they'll make figures from properties that are hot, so what can you do.

:lol

Honestly bugger knows at this point, knowing HT history of showing prototypes that never go to production and release. And even if she does come out who knows if they'll follow up with anything else from those movies or how spread out over time they'd be. They could keep us hanging on for years.

And hot toys produces a much larger percentage of shown protos then nearly every company I can think of. If you where talking about play imaginative id understand (since 2013 they have shown over 200 prototypes and released 3 figures)

That Batman Returns Batman has happened renews one's hope that those Ripley figures will also happen eventually- what it doesn't give hope for is that the new Alien line will go beyond Ripley in terms of depth or that any of it will happen in a timeframe that one would ideally like. So most of what I said in that post remains as relevant for the average non-Marvel collector today as yesterday.
