So it worked like a champ at first.. Nice and bright.. But then I switched the battery that was connected to the adapter more towards the back of the battery compartment to hide it better and now it Blinks on and off.

I played around with it. Out in the other two "dummy" batteries (It comes with 4 dummy and one that is hooked to the adapter) and it worked again.. I went to get get my phone to take a pic for all you and when I went back up and was ready to take the pic.. it started to blink on and off again.. I put in Reg Batteries and it works just fine.

I may have put a short in the wire.. It came in an all white box so it may have been a return.. IDK.

The price is cheap enough I may buy another one just to see as I was very happy with it when it was working.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. So this works but only for a while?

I dont know if the one I got was a return.. Or if I damaged it.. If I damaged it then it is fragile as I was careful.

So I am not sure what happened.. But it just keeps blinking like a christmas light lol

So I am not sure but I think the issue is I may have done something where Vader' boot goes into the stand and plugs in.. when I take him off the base the base light works just fine. When I put him on I get the blinking. I took him off again and base light worked fine.. Put my finger on the plug where the foot goes and gave myself a tiny electrical burn.. My finger still smells like burnt flesh.. LOL.. So I wonder if I did something at some point..

Batteries still work though.. I have no idea.

Darn, I hoped this thing to be an alternative for batteries. I use Panasonic Eneloops in my high end collectibles, as they don't leak, but in time, after 6-7 years, these need to be taken out and recharged too.

Don't worry the cheap quality electronics will have failed by then so you won't need batteries any more.

Ya know even though DarkloardDave's vader may have all the iconic poses.. I just dont see it looking at cool as the IS Vader does in your set up.

The more elaborate pose brings it too life and allows it to stand out.

Best Vader statue ever

I think it would work.. I think Vader foot peg may have a flaw.. For 14.99 what do you have to lose? I would give it a try.

Yeah but you also think that The Rise of Skywalker is a good movie, so your sense of style doesn't really count for much.

Honestly I too was thoroughly entertained when I watched Rise of Skywalker at the cinemas. I do wished they had maybe done a couple of narrative things differently, and I also thought everyone was way overpowered, from those new Destroyers, Rey and the Emperor, but while seeing it, it was a fun watch for me.

Best to just ignore him. I gave him benefit of the doubt for a little while but he is a troll. He never adds anything to the conversation. You can see that in previous posts in this thread and he adds nothing in the TROS thread. Trolls do what they gotta do.

Having said that. Yep I agree.. I am thoroughly entertained by TROS. Its a fun movie for me and helped me to enjoy the TFA a lot more then I originally did. Still not a fan of 75% of TLJ.

I actually didn’t mind TLJ, except for two things. I could’ve lived without the whole casino arc, and then how they made Poe’s decision backfire. But other than that I liked everything else.

But as I’ve said before, at the end of the day my all time favourite Star Wars is not one of the originals (blasphemy I know :cuckoo:), it’s Rogue One, so I admit my opinions are already a bit off.

Yeah me too... The first half and the second half. :lol While I am messing, I did revisit TLJ and I simply can't find any redeeming features myself. There are many movies that I haven't enjoyed before, but I've never really hated a movie because they simply aren't worth that kind of negative energy in the real world. But I think I actually do hate TLJ, that's more so due to how big of a part of my life Star Wars is, it's almost more than a set of movies. I hate what KK and RJ did to both the characters in the movie, and the fans watching it who were left disappointed. The plus side is that I actually feel less invested in Star Wars as a whole atm, so they can make more bad movies and it likely won't bother me quite as much as TLJ did. I don't think any movie will ever again. I like Rogue one a lot, but imagine how much better still that could have been with a less wooden cast. It's a strange situation when the character that conveys the most emotion is a droid.

For now Iron Studios is indeed the best Vader statue.

I might but I have to take into consideration high international shipping and the return policy if something is broken. This is why I would like to be sure it works.

If I were to post all the discussions with the owner of SSF boards DarkLord Dave, and a few other members regarding Aussiebotttttttt, you'll all see why even more that he is the epitome of trolling, but I don't want to derail the thread more than it is already. This is also why I didn't reply to him when he asked about DMD, he doesn't deserve this type of knowledge - but I did answer by PM to a member here asking details.

What would you have done differently? I agree Palps and Rey were both over powered. In the TROS thread somebody posted a very well done fan video of the Jedi ghosts assisting Rey defeat Palps. IMO that would have been a good way of explaining how she was able to do it. But Palps taking out the entire resistance fleet with his Force lightning was too over the top.

Well guess what buddy somebody else did respond to me so now I know what DMD is. Ha ha :nana:

Man I don't want to be a troll, but you have your opinion but I can think of many reasons the Disney star wars were just awful, but anyways I will let it go lol!

All three Disney movies imo were terrible. When each character is boring and one whinny I can't do it. Then the saber fights were so bad. I mean you go from ROTS saber battles and darkness to disney happy movies. ROTS was powerful. So, my excitement for the next movie was off the hook, I got all the toys and was ready. I got the theater all hyped up. I saw their and TFA I feel asleep in and out of the movie. Not caring for any character. Just laughable moments through out. I still think TFA was the worst star wars to date because it started this mess. I didn't care for the characters so the rest of the sequels were meaning less to me. I gave all the rest a chance. But hate is a strong word, but I hated disney for these movies. They ruined to me what was good about star wars. The fun was gone for me. I tried RO and that was boring as well, if not for the Vader scene it would have been another miss for me. I never watched solo because I was over disney star wars. TO this day I don't own any of the Disney star wars movies, 1-6 for me. Thats it.

Im super excited to see DMDs vader in Person. Lucky to have the 1/3 on preorder. Going to be a definitive Vader for me!
