This will bum out those who like low edition sizes.
It'll bum people out who like low edition sizes for Vader, Fett, Maul type characters. Random characters like Hoth Cliff Claven and Naboo Rick McCallum will be the ones with the low edition sizes.

It is only for select figures so that's not true. those would have low edition sizes because SS knows not many people want them not because of the new order format.

Can someone clear one thing up for me.

Does this mean it will be easier to get exclusive editions?

(I am embarassed to be this stupid, but there it is):monkey1 :google

In a word, yes.

It should...because you figure 1700 SW figures can sell out in less than an hour...if the windowis a couple of hours no matter how many order it cant sell out, in that window I mean..so yes I think it will make it much easier.

Now, now... nothing to be embarassed about... There are no stupid questions... and all that jazz! :rotfl

What this means is, it should be easier to get exclusives of certain high profile figures that are offered this way. No more rush at 10 AM PST to try and order the hottest pre-orders! :chew

Well then..... All I can say is: WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :joy :blissy :joy
But I will miss the blood and guts scramble of PPO days...

this could make the regular version more rare than the exclusive. i like the idea of no stress ordering and guaranted figure. I wonder if they will even do a regular edition with these

You know.......this would be perfect for Origins Kurgan...see Sideshow..what you do is just announce you are indeed going to make an Oridins Kurgan...set the Inclusive Edition window for, say, 2 hours and if only 10 people call, then you only have to make 10 figures...makes perfect sence...you loose no money on unsold Kurgans and everyone who wants one gets one!!!

Other than the tens (hundreds?) of thousands Sideshow would have invested
in R&D, sculpting, and tooling to make 10 Medieval Kurgan figures for us! :rotfl

Sorry, just a bit o' sillyness. :monkey1

So, will this new system have any impact on pricing at all?

Such as this little scenario:

1000 Sideshow Medieval Kurgan 12" Figures - $50 each to equal $50,000
500 Sideshow Medieval Kurgan 12" Figures - $100 each to equal $50,000
100 Sideshow Medieval Kurgan 12" Figures - $500 each to equal $50,000
10 Sideshow Medieval Kurgan 12" Figures - $5,000 each to equal $50,000
1 Sideshow Medieval Kurgan 12" Figure - $50,000 for the lone Kurgan! :google

Still being a bit silly, but you get my drift. Will edition size impact price?

So this'll mean no more "Grey Hulk surprises" for us?
(still PO'd on missing the initial order on that one)

Lastly - it is ideas like this that FURTHER set Sideshow above and beyond
the competetion, and I applaud them for taking a step like this and trying
a new idea to hopefully help out everybody involved. CHEERS!

I would glady shell out $150 for a kick ass 12" Kurgan....

But will we have to pay that (or even more) if only 10 people do end up ordering,
that my friend is the question. (I'd pay $150 too, but I won't tell Sideshow that.) :lol

IMHO, I think Sideshow could sell 500 of these, based on the sculpt & armour likeness....if he was spot on this would be a really hot figure...and I'am not just saying that cause I want one...I honestly think this would be a good seller...
