Has anyone had any experience with Pop Collectibles the company? I have a Gandalf on pre-order with them. I actually did get my order from toys Wonderland. (Miracle)!

For those that have received their figure from onesixthkit, how long did it take?

Mine shipped from onesixthkit on Feb. 9, ultimately arriving in Maryland to be transferred to USPS on Feb 14.....and that is the last update. No updates since Feb 14. I checked the tracking on DHL and USPS and they show the same thing (one says being transferred to delivery partner and the other says awaiting item).

10 calendar days. Tracking started on February 5. I received mine on February 15.

Wow, so is it backlit with LEDs, or is that some paint effect?

And, most importantly, are you making some for others? :p

It's a great choice for a diorama piece. Not too obtrusive, and accommodates the entire Fellowship.

Thanks a lot! This is the backlight. I'm still working on it and want to make a shimmer effect.
This is just a wall for now, I’m planning to make a floor as well (ground with steps)
I haven't done it for others yet.
There are plans to do something similar for Aragorn.
I think this will be the entrance to the caves in the Cirith Ungol pass. Walls with skulls.

Wow, there will be more to this? I was thinking it would be cool to just put this against the back wall of the display, but if you will be doing more parts to this, that's really impressive. Definitely share more.

So far this is the only thing in the plans! I will definitely share when I finish the full diorama.
Other projects on other universes for example (the witcher, god of war)

if you ever did decide to sell them, i know id be seriously interested

I always sell copies of all my works that I create :)
Cool to hear!
Where do you sell them?
Are you thinking of making copies of the Doors of Durin to sell?
And if so what price range are you thinking?

Sorry to bombard you with questions - if you dont feel comfortable answering on the forum feel free to message or ignore me :ROFLMAO:

It's not difficult for me to answer xD
Yes, I will sell them.
I can’t announce the price yet, since the work is only 40% complete. The price will not be small because this is a very large diorama.
All will be known when I finish the first main prototype!

Just yesterday I was talking with two friends about possible LotR Dioramas for not only Gandalf - but also my Sam, Frodo and Gollum (I'm rooting them and hope it works out).

Bag Ends, Doors of Moria, Weathertip, Balins Grave were the typical places. And now I see this great door! Awesome work all around so far! It looks great

There's just so much to unwrap and check out... it's like Christmas!

There's just no comparison with any Gandalf figure I have ever had in the past. This is the one who shall pass.

No time to really futz him now. Just checking to make sure everything is OK in the box. So far, so good.

I love that they double-boxed the figure. My shipper box had a few "stab wounds" so the extra protection came in handy.

I thought it was odd that the little "movie ticket" inside the box said "released 5/2022"... 2022!??? What does that even mean?

released 2022 - what the hell.jpg

Did yours have no update for 10 business days when DHL said they would hand it off to USPS?

Also, does kit double box?

No, it was updated throughout. It had a scan almost every day, of some sort of progress.

Yes, but it's superflous. The Inart box itself is double-boxed. Most figures have a brown shipper, this figure has a shipper for the shipper, and Kit boxes over that.
