OMG the eyes on this look better and thus, more accurate on this than the QS001 as they have that squint look now. Well done Hot Toys.

Even with the repaint I still can can't see any likeness at all to Bale on the DX12.

U can totally tell this is Alfred though. Nevertheless, the PVC sculpt seems to have lost details from the resin prototype as the wrinkles do not look as pronounced as they do in the prototype.

That neutral face plate is the only one that looks any good really. Cowl looks better than DX12, but the face plates aren't doing much for me. The open mouthed one looked great before but looks like they've changed it a bit.

Probably couldn't pull it off at this scale.

Can't wait to get my hands on mine. Pics are awesome! May have to get that cape replaced...

Yeah looks like cardboard but that is how all Hot Toys Batman capes look like so I am not surprized.

Not meant as an insult...but how anyone can look at these pics and NOT see that the eye plate is different from DX12 is beyond me. Those eyes are not as wide eyed as the previous release.

And IMO the faceplate looks better even better than the QS001 because it now has that squint look.

This set looks pretty damn good. I never had a huge issue with the DX12 cowl as from a distance I think it looks good enough, but certainly the closer you look the more those derpy eyes stand out. This new cowl looks way better, though. Really glad they fixed it. Only downside is there's only one good mouth plate, but that's not a huge deal to me. Probably would only display him with the neutral one, anyways.

I think they tried too hard to mimic the faceplates on the QS001 but at least one mouth plate is good and the eyes look better on this than the QS001 IMO.

The cape is a non issue for me. I'm putting my DX02 in the armory. My DX12 will replace my DX02 as my capeless rooftop version. and this one will be my complete batman version. No complaints with this set so far from me.

Pics make entire Batsuit look better- it looks shinier
Eyes big improvement as are the faceplates-
Bruce's suit needs to be futzed abit more- I think under natural lighting the color and overall look will be better

The Armory itself is beautiful!

I love my dx12 and im not selling because of all the work ive put into it. So that will remain as my main Batman but i will probably use the armory head on it as it definitely looks better and display the armory how it was meant to be displayed. I love how this set comes with a ton of stuff that can also complement DX12. Also i will need to commission a new cape from Tony Mei

Tony Meis battle cape but ill get another one for the armory set

But you don't plan to use the armory Batman figure right? So what do u want to use the other cape for?

Depends just in case i swap out the display and actually display both figures. I would get the same battle cape, i think that one is perfect, i cant stand capes that drape all over the floor

You realise that's a DX12 with custom cowl, mouth and neck and cape and contains nothing from the armoury set.

love the set and I'll be picking it up, but I can't for the life of me understand why none of the Batman freaks out there are not outraged by the fact that Waynes suit is totally the wrong color! Unless its going off some scene when he wasn't in the batcave?

This isn't uncommon. The BRJ 2.0 still has the wrong color suit. Whatcha gonna do?

I'm probably going to pre-order this set soon. But before I do, I'm just curious if someone could point out the differences (if any) between the batsuit in the Dark Knight (This set) compared to the one in The Dark Knight Rises (DX-12)? I have looked at pictures of both and I don't see much of a difference at all, but my eyes aren't too keen on the subtle details until I have them in hand. The only reason I ask is because I want only one definitive batman from the D.K. Trilogy, and If there is some significian't difference between the two, I want to know about it before making my decision. I like this set because I can display Batman and Bruce, and still have an extra body if I don't want to display Alfred.

There are wrist straps on the gloves in TDK, same as on this figure and the DX12. The TDKR suit didn't have them, which is why some collectors shaved down the hands on their DX12s. I think there are also some slight differences in the gauntlets.

I can't tell for sure because it might just be angles, but is there a difference in the neck/cowl?
