A Hot Toys advertisement showed that Mark V is "Available Now" on a weekly magazine. The magazine released on Wednesday night in HK. I believe that is the cause of the news.

So far, I saw nothing on HT and Toy Hunter's facebook, nor did any pick-up call received at this moment.

But unless the ad has a "typo", the release day is very close...

Idk about leakage but when I opened my Mark IV, one of the batteries had already oxidized a bit. I had to clean the right arm battery compartment with a cotton bud, and everything worked well afterwards
