The color is coming from the "leather" parts that I've seen, so you shouldn't have to cover the whole figure.

Yeah I know what you mean, but is it rubbing on the neck in areas that could be wrapped without it being visible?

Mine got little black spots around his neck that stained the rubber, just out of the blue, I went to go and look at Wolvie and BAM, there they were. I am confused why that would happen, it didn't make contact with the jacket.

The stuff he comes with is very high quality, IMO. Not so flashy that everyone was initially blown away but once you have it in hand there's no doubt.
