He just showed up.
I've had this figure for a while and was more than happy with him out of the box, but after seeing various mods and customizations, I decided to make him look a little closer to the prototype.
I followed Dean Knight's mod video - first, I separated the collar from the costume, then added two layers of cotton pads underneath in order to cover his neck better. Second, I decided to remove the fat suit entirely, and it looks way better now IMO. After going back and looking at older pictures of him on display at SDCC and Secret Base, I don't think the original proto had the fat suit underneath the costume.

Great piece - plan on weathering mine and removing the fat suit. Still amazing in hand. Hot Toys definitely needs to do more Horror Figures. I’d love to see them take on the Universal Monsters.
