Just picked up new custom Ironman neutral head sculpt, it’s not perfect but a lot better than HTs.

The custom head looks like it came from a Madame Tussaud's wax museum. It doesn't have that similar finish to how the skin looks on HT's headsculpts. Sometimes I also see this wax-like finish from those expensive custom headsculpts being sold. Even if the likeness is spot on, the finish just drags it down by a lot.

I see what HT was going for with the sheen on the hair. He was graying making his hair seem lighter. But the hairstyle should have been "messier" the comb over on the sculpt just looks lazy.

Considering the one by Maxnut Studios. That one is spot on. The bloodied, stressed looks are off a little, but still look great.

They said Q3 in the original post. Knowing HT we probably won?t get a follow up announcement until a a few weeks ahead of release. Right now they have a backlog of releases to finish so id imagine they want to get those figures done

I remember back 10+ years ago being amazed at this:


Back then though, I remember receiving my first IM Mk. III and was wholly amazed by it. Still have the OG “plastics” too even though they are sitting in boxes. Comparisons to today aside, the figure was awesome and the back was almost even cooler:


Next was the BD Mk. III that, at the time, had a cool base and the forearm shield, pop up shoulder darts and the pop out hip flares:




And lastly, as old and irrelevant as it is now, the Secret Project Mk. IV looked stunning and I would have loved that remake instead of the Neon Tech:

Well that's annoying. It seems they haven't made it clear other whether overseas distributors will get a new batch or not.
