Hot Toys: 1/4 Official Boba Fett Collectible Figure

if there was any 1/4 StarbWars figure to get.... This is it for me.

At the rate ht releases 1/4 figures, this will prolly be the only one for a really long time. I could see a vader or Luke in 5 years, but that's about it.

Its very nice. I don't do 1/4 scale figures. So easy pass. I also don't do $500 figure. Well not yet. We'll see how HT prices their 1/6 in a couple years!

Apologies if this has been posted already. HT Japan released the price and is now being compared to QS001 Batman. If this is anything to go by, then the price increase is about 50% 2 years after launch of 1/4 Batman. Again, take note that Bats had 3 headsculpts included and a plethora of accessories too.

Licensing costs?


EDIT: $42000 is about $350 US, but of course exchanges might be way different 2 years ago. Bats was $465 in Sideshow.
$65000 is about $540 US.

Can't say I'm a massive fan of the character as some are (would still buy it in 1/6th scale) but it looks incredible. It looks like a real person in those pictures. I hope the final product looks that good for you guys.

Edited my first post. My computation was incorrect. Increase in Yen price is about 50%, not 30! O_O

Also added the USD conversion, and Sideshow's mark-up for Batman to have a clue how much SSC would Mark up Boba.

Star Wars sure is expensive. Boba doesn't even come with an alternate head with an actor's likeness. Might be a pass for me in case Sideshow makes the price even harder to swallow.

That is disgusting. HK price converted to USD is $384. Japan price converted to USD is $549. Sideshow price will be even higher. You got to be kidding me! I was so happy when the HK price was revealed this morning, i expected SS to be $425-440 with their usual mark-up but at $600 i won't buy this.

Likewise. The HK price announced earlier was like a dream. Now I think that it could be just a special offer price for the Toy Soul event, giviing the slots to be raffled off make more sense. What HT Japan posted might be what we can use as guide for the mass release.
