All the ESB Lukes are amazing and have better likenesses than Hot Toys figures. No joke.

The Snowspeeder Luke looks amazing in hand.
Interesting, that hasn't been my experience. I no longer collect this line or scale, but the first Bespin Luke was nothing to write home about, IMO, and I did pick up Snowspeeder Luke out of curiosity, promptly got rid of it -- waxy plastic, likeness was ... okay with the helmet on. Correcting for price point and product class it's a good figure but I didn't find it exceptional. Real pity that S.H. Figuarts has never released the Snowspeeder Luke they showed a prototype of way back -- that thing looked unbelievable.

It took you long enough.

Snowspeeder Luke, Ackbar and Windu are great. Dengar and Skiff Lando are fantastic also. Some of my favorites I’d recommend are,

- Count Dooku
- Hoth Rebel Trooper
- Commander Bly
- ROTJ deluxe Boba Fett
- ANH Vader (ESB is great too, depending on your preference)
- Chewbacca and C-3PO with removable limbs
- Obi-Wan Episode 1
- Qui-Gon Episode 1 (50th anniversary version)
- Hoth Leia (Bespin Escape is great too)
- Endor Han
- Dagobah Luke and Yoda
- Tarkin
- Battle Droid
- Stormtrooper (Mandalorian, but the current Jedha Patrol is more bang for your buck since the backpack and Paul from are removable)
Thanks for this list. Many of them can still be got at various online stores although it'd be ebay for some of them.

A few I definitely already had in mind - was looking at ESB Vader and, as often, find the softgoods offputting - from what I can see the cape doesn't look any more realistic in its response to gravity than it does at 3.75'' so I don't know about that one. It would be bizarre not to have a Vader though.

Padawan Kenobi looks awesome - I was never happy with any of his 3.75'' figures. Those are instances where I would most be interested - where 6'' definitively improved over 3.75''

Darth Maul is conspicuously absent from your list - was he not so good?

I wanted that Figuarts Snowspeeder Luke and General Grievous so bad. Damn shame.

I've missed a ***t tonne of Figuarts figures that look really good - not least Farmboy Luke - Hasbro can't seem to make a decent ANH Luke to save their lives. I can't believe I'm still using Luke figures from 1998 in my 3.75'' collection for the lack of anything better over 20 years later. The Black Series 6'' looks crap so I won't be touching that.

Figuarts ANH Han Solo looks great - unless what I'm seeing in my searches are customs - possible, since I've not been following Star Wars at this scale at all.

Black Series Maul is awful. I got the SH Figuarts instead.

The soft goods on ANH and ESB Vader are quite good. Love the cut of the capes.

I have SH figuarts Farmboy Luke. I also got the landspeeder/luke set. In that instance I swapped the head with ceremonial Luke and gave him the stormtrooper belt that came with Black Series Han. Went for the Death Star escape look since the figuarts can’t hold a blaster. I quite like him despite his soft goods tunic. Goes with Leia though and looks great.

Great list. I have resisted this line for years only giving in on certain figs - I think I'll cave on Ackbar and Skiff Lando. The Dago Luke/Yoda and Chewy/3PO are too good.

Just picked up Tech and Wrecker on some great Amazon coupons, how’s the paint rub with the helmets!? Tbh I haven’t collected this scale for years, I’ve mainly been dealing with hot toys, where I would never apply a helmet like a 6in, but idk if there are paint rub issues as much. Cheers

Hasbro, take notes.

Absolutely no reason they couldn’t make a new 6” Farmboy Luke like this, then take that digital sculpt and shrink it down to 3 3/4 as well.

Put them on a Return of the Jedi cardback to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ROTJ.

@fanplasticfour on Instagram.

They did Han Solo and Leia as well.

And I agree with you 100%. The best 4”Farmboy Luke figures were the ones from POTF2 in 1998.

I don’t get why they continue to give him midget legs and soft goods tunics. They don’t do that to Jedi figures, so why him?

Hasbro, take notes.

I don't know who the extra heads are supposed to be, but they're not Luke. The "regular" one resembles him the most, the other are way off.

Can someone explain me what are these 2 mandos releases please ?
I am not a big fan of the snowy and sandy releases, but for these 2 I would like to understand where they come from ?
Thanks

Those are actually the "credit collection" versions. Stylized like how the end credits are color splashed paintings of scenes from the episode.

Repaints for the obsessive compulsive collector..... :wink1:
True !
I only got the beskar and no beskar release.
I do not want the "credits" releases and the snowy and sandy releases even if for these one I can understand someone who could make a great display with.
The carbonized version is ok I guess.
