Thanks!!!

I imagine a 30cm KG would just be too big. But I have fantasies about a DAM display and I do prefer the 30cm Gorosaurus for example. But getting all 10 and having space to display then is likely only something I can do in my mind. :)

That's been my dream from when I first started buying these in 09, but I'm just glad they finally made one. I agree on Gorosaurus, but there are a few 25 cm releases I prefer to the 30 cm. Crawling Baragon, Crawling Varan, and GMK Godzilla come to mind. I'm a 30 cm collector at heart, though.

Is there a good place where I can educate myself on the differences? I'd love to see some comparison pics of the ones you mentioned.

If I get KG, the I have to at least get Godzilla and Rodan. I'd like to see which size I prefer in those.

This is a door I fear opening....

I'm not sure if you have a Facebook, but this closed group is a really great resource of information about X-Plus releases. It used to be pretty slow, but in the last year it has become really active. They have a lot of good resources about previous releases and some exclusive releases you can only buy from someone that can get them directly from X-Plus. Just send a request to join and they should approve it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/XPlusGodzillaVinylSeries/

This retailer is sold out of all of X-Plus' releases currently, but they still have just about everything that's ever come out listed on their site including pictures and everything. If it says "Large Monster Series" under the series description, it means it's 25 cm scale, and if it says "30 cm Series", of course, it means it's in 30 cm scale. X-plus Gundam Action Figures Store

The original 25 cm 68 Godzilla sold out some time ago, but there is also an exclusive Godzilla 68 and Minya two-pack coming out in February, I believe. It was put up for pre-order several weeks ago, but it may still be possible to get one through one of those dealers that can get it directly above like I mentioned above. I can give you some contact info from the guy I buy them from if you think you'd want to look into buying that set as well.

Got my NECA '84/'85 the other night. While not the best representation of him ever, it's a better done figure than pics led on and very satisfying for me as a fan of that suit, easily worth the $19 and very photogenic. The head definitely has influence from the Cybot, but overall I'd say it's a representation of the suit head.

It definitely helps if you stop and pose him like the '84, I feel like all the in hand pics ive seen just pop him out of the package and straighten him up a little but it doesn't bring out what NECA's done, he's still flawed but there's more you can get out of him.

So, does anyone have a 'Go-to' website for all the latest Godzilla Collectible news? X-Plus seems to be it's own 'market' (in a way) and everything else just seems to scattered and all over the place. Any recommendations?

This thread is good for some obscure stuff.

Toho Kingdom

Otherwise there's no site really that gets it all, and some of the cooler stuff is from lesser know makers, there are so many Godzilla products being made it's crazy, model kits, statues, figures.

Thanks, though that's about the best I've got as well. Trying to find good information on message boards is taxing to say the least. :lol It's a bit of a chore to find alot of this stuff, and I hate finding out about limited-releases after the fact - something I'm sure a lot on here can relate to... :wink1:

Although it hasn't been updated in a few years...
Clubtokyo.org still is a good resource for older items browsable by brand or type....
Everything from bandai, to xplus, and figure sets, to vintage and even the candy toys

That's pretty cool. The G'2014 has been on my radar since the pictures first surfaced. I do like the roaring head, though it doesn't seem to match the current body as well. He is kind of just 'standing' there after all. Regardless, I too hope the seam is as unnoticeable as possible.

Thanks, guys!
The roaring head is an improvement but yeah I do think the posture might be unfit. I'll probably still use the roaring head regardless.
