what was the height on this thing..... are they 1/6 scale or something different like 1/7?

StarWarsShop lists it at 11" tall, but sometimes I think GG measurements include the highest tip of the lightsaber blade and the base so it's probably somewhere around 1/7-1/8 scale.

After everything that happened here last week, it's just another example of how SS is head and shoulders above other companies. They at least addressed the issue we had, even if we didn't like the answer.

I was thinking the same,

I have sent 2 e-mails to GG previously asking a question which is not clear regarding exclusive club membership and they did not respond at all. Same happened with Hard Hero also.

Man, you have been paying a lot for these! I'd recommend a few things:

1) Pre-order from Diamond if possible (most hobby shops give a 10-20% discount.)

2) Order from Rick at Nside, Mike at Razorsedge or Bob at Fireside. Rick and Mike are sponsors at GGC.com. Great people. And Bob is... well, "The Godfather." You will pay less... not to mention SWS overcharges for shipping everything!

By far this is the very worst statue I have ever seen, and to make things worse it comes from Star Wars no less.

I was reading this thread last night and my wife walks up while I'm looking at the pictures and asked who it was supposed to be. After I told her it was Obi-Wan she said it didn't look a thing like him. She's not a big SW fan (how many women are?), but she at least knows when a statue or figure doesn't look like who it's supposed to be. In all my years of collecting, this is the only time she's commented on the appearance of any of them.

Well, I was somewhat disheartened by the Obi-Wan statue disaster. However, while shopping this weekend, I found the perfect replacement.

Okay, now the paints a little rough .. but you have to admit the sculpt is superior... plus he came with a free Durge!

Well, I was somewhat disheartened by the Obi-Wan statue disaster. However, while shopping this weekend, I found the perfect replacement.

Okay, now the paints a little rough .. but you have to admit the sculpt is superior... plus he came with a free Durge!

I was going to make the same post. I even went to RS to find the picture. Then I saw this.

I gave the Durge to my kids.

I think I am going to have it repainted. I really like the concept and if the paint job ruins it then I will have a custom job done and have it fixed up. If I can get it looking nice then I would be happy to have it in my collection--I've been looking forward to this one for so long.

All they need to do is change the product description to "Obi Wan Clone Wars Statue" and no one would have ever known anything was wrong. Thats basically happened, his head went from a RL head to a CW one.
