I just did a quick search on ebay to see if those damn Asian Flippers from HK are already selling it .

Yeah look at those bargain prices of $599-799, they are hoping to grab someone who doesn't know about the new figure (I would be , too if I was selling one!)

I own the OC figure and I'd like to get this too.
All this talk of 'value' and 'price' dropping in regards to the OC is ridiculous. Yeah it may be true but what does it matter unless you think your figures are an investment, these are toys, enjoy them for that as Hot Toys are going to improve and supersede some of their most popular figures eventually and if the figures future 'value' is important to you then you're going to be disappointed.

It's a DISCUSSION- it is not important to me more than enjoying and collecting it, but we CAN discuss price values without implying that is why we have it in the first place. I honestly don't get why it raises the hairs on your back just talking about it. The real proof is what they sell for IF you are wanting to buy one- talking about value doesn't lower the cost of what you have in your hands- it's talk!

Other than the new Bale head and the changeable mouthpiece ... is there any difference between the new one and the old one?

If I can get one cheaper, maybe I'll just go with the old one. I figure a Bale head will come out with the TDKR figures, and I'm not going to pay too much premium for an "angry mouth". I wouldn't use the open mouth, and the relaxed mouth is roughly the same expression as on the first one, if I recall.

Yeah, you're right, I'm just saying that this is something HT may continue to do, improve on figures/characters they've done in the past and our old favorites may no longer be as cool or 'worth' as much.

I'm hoping Sideshow revisit some old Star Wars releases.

Personally I don't think this con exclusive will be hugely expensive. Remember there are already heaps of originals around, and this con exclusive will cause any being hoarded to be released onto the market. I think alot of folks may be after parts of this though

And every single one is a rip off. I'm going to wait awhile and see what the knew one will go for if easily available or see what these will be priced at once the new one comes out . They will still be worth something but nowhere near whats being asked for on Ebay right now.

And every single one listed is a rip off. Going to see how things play out with the new one and what the availability is . Otherwis I'll be keepign my eyes peeled over the next several weeks on Ebay and here to see
what the first one is unloaded for . Once this new one is out the prices will hopefully drop on the older version.

Yeah I wouldn't rush in to buying anything just yet. I've spoken to a few Sellers I would normally use on eBay about the new one & they said there definitely getting them in but they don't know how many they can get & how much there going to cost either but they should know late June but I'm pretty confident that we'll be able to pick up the new figure cheaper than what people are trying to sell there old ones for. I think £300 is the cheapest I've seen it at yet with postage & that's just a starting bid. Funny how alot of people on eBay all of a sudden haven't got any room to display there Batman figure, were last week there was just one I noticed for about £600. Anyway good luck guys, to who ever wants this exclusive, I definitely do.
