I used the second head on my old Redman ...
Outstanding!I decided to give making the holster from that heat-forming thin plastic sheet (it has a name, which eludes me currently.
I traced the shape of the original for size, then flipped it and traced the shape again and then cut it out, heated it up with a heat gun and moulded it around the PK-D while malleable.

It shaped around really easily, and some spot heating and trimming made a great base that held the weapon in place.
From here I used milliput to give more accurate thickness and added the details in. Then some light sanding to even out the surfaces and details and gave it a test base coat.

Looking good so far.
Will be glueing in some cotton for all the stitching work after the final painting is done and will share my (hopefully decent) results soon as It's done.
You're pictures did this figure justice all that shades and textures and paint apps were all apparent. bravo.

Another beauty shot that show the figure. Not a fan of the holster he came with. I still have the one from the good old Blade Hunter. It's plastic & it's black but it fits nicely. A custom made holster is probably the way to go... but it's fine for now.
