Well now, looks like the Book of Eli train
is rolling again.

I got 2 more customers who want multiple figures.

Like many customizers and figure makers, I look forward
to trying to improve on the last figures made here.

3rd Up: Carnegie # 2.

Though I liked the last carnegie figure, it was my first attempt
at making leather boots. So I know I can do better and
I think I've gotten a good start.

1st Boot so far before coloring and weathering.

Much better start on them I think.

Started on the scarf. Still needs more fraying and weathering
and some color splashes, but again, I think it's due to surpass the other.

Can't thank Witekite enough for making the awesome
real metal canes. They are exactly like the prop picture
I sent him but in 1/6 perfection.

The coat is coming along as well. Did some basic weathering
and fraying. But got it the right length and will
be adding some darker color and of course the fur collar
to make it more film accurate.

I'm excited to give these figures another go.
I will update more as I get further with all the figures(ELI & REDRIDGE).

And yes I know that's not a Gary Oldman head...:lol

What do think so far??

Here's the fur collar added to the trench coat. This is before coloring and weathering of course.

Finished the coat, suspenders and it's about 80 % finished. Still needs shotgun wound plus blood splatter
& weathering on the pants. Also the boots need to be finished with a darker color with weathering.
Still have to do black military shirt as well.

Great work on that coat, very impressive!

Thanks.

Here's Carnegie at 90% finished. Just have to do military shirt that he has.

I darkened the boots, jacket and fur to make them more film accurate.
I added the shotgun blast wound to the leg and the bloody bandage over it.
I also frayed and added some small color splashes on the scarf.
And of course weathered everything some more.

Here is Eli's new bible & backpack I'm working on. Both pretty close to being
finished. Hard to get all that detail on the cross, it actually looks much better than
these macro shots show it. The light was reflecting strange off the cover so I had to
play with the contrast to bring up some of the detail. But its real
leatherbound with paper pages and a new lock design closer to the film version.

Another Redridge in the works as well.

REDRIDGE #2

Here's the initial work on the Art Figures head to make him
look more like the Redridge character. Dremel off the hair & neck, re-shape
the head and first repaint to help blend it in. Still needs work
but he's on his way.

looks great. great character choice too. oldman is unbeatable.

Thanks

A customer of mine is sending another Oldman sculpt from another
great sculptor. He wants me to try to make a Carnegie out of it
as well. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I will post pics when I start the new Carnegie figure.
