Well, as I start to put the finishing touches on these
figures, I thought I would post pictures of each as they get
completed. Just to let others view them and see if I forgot
something or could improve something on them before they
ship out.

1st up: Carnegie

Just got the heads back from Sean Ho. He did a great job on
painting them. Still had to dirty up Carnegie a lot and make his hair darker
with a little gray streaking on the sides. This uses Rainmain's
excellent Crazy Standsfield head. Highly modified with removal of
beard, mustache and I took the hair line back a little, then added pock marks and aging lines.

He comes with full outfit(custom leather boots, pants, long sleeve
navy shirt, Military dress overshirt, trench, scarf & custom glasses),

***** I did try to make the lightly quilted vest he has, but it just
doesn't work well with the other parts of the outfit *****

Custom metal cane (Thanks Witekite), Custom flask(Thanks Witkite again), real metal
Browning pistol customized to match prop gun and it sits on
a Hot Toys stand with custom movie logo sticker and name sticker
from Evilface. Not the best lighting, didn't really bring out
all the great weathering, sweat & dirt on the face. Will try to add
better pictures tomorrow.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Ike.

More to come.....

Looks good! Oldman looks a bit young, but I guess that's unavoidable using Rainman's Stansfield head.

Yeah, plus the lighting doesnt help. He actually does look much older
than the original sculpt. I think some better pictures of the face with good
ligting will bring that out more tomorrow.

Nice work!

Which figure did the trenchcoat come from?

Didn't like the movie enough to ever toy with the idea of figures, but this looks great!

Nice work!

Which figure did the trenchcoat come from?

Thanks.

It's started as a german navel great coat. I think DID or 3R
made it. It comes in Navy with bright blue collar and gold
officer tassels on the shoulders.

I removed the collar and replaced it with a fuax fur collar I made from scratch.
I removed the gold officer markings on the shoulder,
dyed it a flat black and then added weathering.

looks great ,love the glasses

Thanks.

Yes, made on clear overhead laminate. Only way to get those
gucci style glasses.

Thanks. It's a commission job I'm doing for someone.
But I do think the movie had 3-4 good characters that would
make good post-apoc figures.

Okay, it's official, I am now the figure maker to the stars...sort of....:lol:rotfl

Over the last 12 months, I made figures for 2 people who are in the movie industry.
Last year, I made some Reign of Fire figures for a guy who worked on the film and today,
the writer of Book of Eli, Gary Whitta, got his 3 figure set shown in this thread(Redridge shown in other thread as well).
His significant other Leah commissioned me to make them back in Dec. He was very happy to get them
and said the detail was just mind blowing. I guess he posted pictures on his face book of them,
but I don't have a face book account. When someone looked for me, they couldn't look at the
pictures, because it's on Gary private account, where only his friends can view them.

Damn it, I guess I open a face book account and see if he'll grant me access... :D

SO there you have it, maybe Gary will throw my name around so I can continue to make
figures for movie industry people....maybe it will help my screenplay get a greenlight as well.. :D :D

Sometimes, it really is who you know...so if you see a trailer for a movie called "Money Storm"...you know I've crossed over into the limelight...:lol

One can only hope....:wink1:

Congratulations, Ike.

Thanks. Leah just emailed me and said he posted pictures on twitter as well.
But again..I have no twitter account..

So I can read what he's posting about the "Andy Griffin Show" marathon he's at.
but I can't see the pictures of the figures @garywhitta on twitter.

Must I really break down and get a twitter account..:thud:
