I'd be a bit happier if FP.com would stop dicking about and ship my EPII clone trooper!

Want to get the helmet caste up so I can dump the Lolly Pop castes on my clones and unveil all 11 troops together!

I have great expectations for you Dorgs... Armor looks good... But you know you'd better not be using silicone/resin for molding/casting, because that really isn't cost effective you know... I've done the math, and you're better off buying troopers from
SS!

So you must be using plaster or something cheaper...

I've wanted to cast my own clones since before the Utapau trooper was announced...

I assume you're not going along with the 1/2 and 1/2 plan I suggested... Or else you'd PM/ email me...

Oh yes and do you have an EpII SS clone yet? I do...

and.. 15 hour Photoshoot!!??!! Did she forget how to put the dress on? I can see her now, wandering about with a large Meringue like ensemble attached the back of her head, shrieking like a plucked chicken and generally making a scene.

Well I have been quiet for a while as I have been playing with stuff and experimenting with this casting what not do da!!

My conclusion........ huummm chuffin hard work!!!

but good fun.

I have learnt loads and loads but still have much to learn

A couple of folks asked about the moulds, well here they are!

Dorgs you a re killin me they are fine work, I used the siligum to cast some scout armour, but how do you get the resin to spread and cure correctly?

Silligum is top stuff, but chuffin pricey in the UK.

As for the resin.

I am using quick set takes about 5-10 mins really tricky but it works ok for a couple, but is really time consuming.

LOL man dont be jealous, you have some of the best customs I have ever seen. I love the Ventress u did but my fav is Colman.... love that sculpt of callous's.

It should be easier with the Mando chest parts as they are less curved.

its the Han smuggler... its my fan, I need another one so I had a go at that to. I cut the neck off as thats the only thing that bugged me. as for Praji gloves!!! Yep... really tough to do, and I have not had a 100% successful one yet... but that will not stop me trying LOL.
I figured I need two sets for my 2 tie pilots, a few for my x-wing pilots and some for my Hoth Han and Luke...
