Clone trooper armour casting

Well I did not know if I should start a new thread on this or hu-jack someone elses! So I though why not.

Right... I know I am an OT man through and through, but I have to admit.. I love a clone or two.

In my desperate attempt to learn to cast heads I thought hey, why not do some clone armour. I have all the parts for another 2 clones but no feet, shoulder bells or chest plates....

so this is it so far....


So far...
clone helmet
chest plate front
chest plate back
feet

really rough to do and I am a real amateur!!

still got lots to do but its been fun, well most of the time.

Looks great. Can't say I like the idea of recasting Sideshow products, but as long as they are just for your needs I don't see a problem with it.

Well it depends on how I get on.

If I can get 5 helmets, chest plates, should and feet done I will be happy. They seem to be the most expensive bits. I am also gonna have a bash at the stormtrooper shoulder pads, as they seem really hard to find.

Very good! I'm amazed you can recast the the armour thought the resin might be too brickle consiering the armour is thi.

too right! I'm actually a very happy man. Just trying to keep up apearances LOL

I'd be a bit happier if FP.com would stop dicking about and ship my EPII clone trooper!

Want to get the helmet caste up so I can dump the Lolly Pop castes on my clones and unveil all 11 troops together!

Im just gonna collect the clone commanders now. I sold my Utapau clone for £62 on ebay as i had no love for the colouring. Ive still got my Bacara and im keeping the shock trooper as well though.
