Add me to the List, i have one and still sealed from day of release

i just got one too..

You can put me down for one as well.

i know friends who own it but don't have an account here, not everyone knows about the Forum, i haven't checked the Topic for Years, the reason i came back was to see the status of a Hot Toys Batman Forever Batmobile Release, ended reading 600+ Pages Backwards

yesterday a saw a someone on Facebook post a 3D printed 31 inch Batmobile.....

I'm gonna have to make getting a display case for this a priority soon. It's ridiculous that I've owned this extravagance for so long and yet have never displayed it properly - it's permanently covered by plastic bags over each end to stop dust and up on the highest open shelf because without a protective display case it could get knocked against and scratched. A high shelf is the worst place for it, barely visible even if you don't have bags over it.

Sora shop is definitely one of the most cost effective ways to get one in Europe

Yeah Creasy is right, I think Sora is certainly the best option for Europe at a reasonable price. I paid mine about 220 € ( shipping included) with an extra black base. Mine is 110 cm Length / 50 cm width and 40 cm heigh if I remember correctly.

Check maybe also Vitrine Expo, a new French maker that offers amazing display case for good prices:

https://www.vitrineexpo.com/tous-les-produits/

For the same dimensions it’s a little bit more expensive, about 250€ (+ 30€ shipping for France ) but the advantage is you don’t have any screw visible. All panels fit together. Maybe more classy.

Thanks for the info refresh guys. I've taken note of the page number. Is there such a thing as sun-blocking panels? The most viable location for display might be along a window wall directly in front of said window...:monkey4

Yeah normally all the quality acrylic display cases get anti sun treatments blocking UV.

i actually had in mind just straight up blacked-out panels that don't let the sun through at all. I think it was discussed in here before that the anti-UV stuff isn't a 100% defence against the effects of the sun so I'm talking about blocking it from the back completely and maybe even from the ceiling of the display case too.

I can't remember if I was involved with that conversation. Most regular materials will block UVB; UVA is a different story, and as I recall from talking to a framer, UV blocking materials will extend the life of a piece but they won't be 100% efficacious.

In the case of plastics and rubber used on the Batmobile, I'd also be concerned about reactions catalyzed by heat. Direct sunlight is powerful stuff.

I actually got a Mirrored background on my sora ship one, the back of that is completely blacked out. You could
Do the same With the top section as they build it complete to your specifications

Bugger. Yeah that might be a worry if the heat conducts through the case. I always keep the Batmobile raised up on a thick foam cushion in the middle so its tires aren't touching anything, maybe that, in combination with strategically blacked-out panels, would be enough to stop it taking heat damage....well, surface contact heat damage anyway.

Do you recommend the mirror wall? Do you find it looks cool?
