Does anybody know what scale the MP cars are in? I've got mp 17/18/19 and was thinking of getting a couple of small, characterless model figures to go beside them in robot mode to demonstrate scale in a display. I'm sure this was covered 200 pages ago lol

No, it appears as if Hasbro are actually releasing it in that horrible grey plastic.

I had a brief look at what else they've shown and as expected there's nothing that's even remotely close to be worth a purchase.

I will however give them credit for making a Roadbuster that looks even worse than FansProject's.

Bless 'em for trying but as ever their attempts at throwing the collector market a few scraps are laughable.

Sorta neat for me ..., I only had like 5 of em when I was a Kid ..., and Still do Have my Origional. Might get Him.

Started Buying Pieces to the Uranos Figure.
Man is He neat so far . Only need ther Arms now. He is my Sons ..., but I might have to get the Devastator now. Man, I woulda Killed for these 28 Yrs or so ago.

After seeing all those new movies toys:
Evasion Optimus - Bought like a fist of god, bring me a movie accurate deco with faceplate to double dip.
Hound - When one gun doesn't work, use more gun, when that doesn't use cannon, when out of cannon use knife.
Leader Prime - I'm desperate for another big Prime, but it will hopefully look nice next to Buster.

Yeah, I'm not liking the grey plastic on the new one. That sucks. I was hoping to get a second one on the cheap to keep in robot mode.

Was anything said about a re-release of the Hasbro MP Soundwave? I wanted to get a second one of him too.

I wonder if Hasbro used softer plastic like how they did for YOH Starscream? I don't see any of the fault lines on the plastic that the US version had. That AOE Grimlock reminds me of Bludgeon's pretender shell.

Just looks like they don't add as much colouring plastic pellets to the main mix of translucent plastic

I don't mind the grey, glad they are varying the look each release. keeps people that want a million versions happy, keeps people who have originals that they want no one else to have happy and gives someone like me who doesn't mind the grey plastic happy.

Maybe I don't have the eye of discernment for the color grey of some of you, but it looks pretty much like Grimlock grey to me.

The shark (Skybite) is from the Robots in Disguise anime-esque series from... I want to say '99 or 2000 or so? I remember I was still in university. Didn't watch it, as I thought it was horrible, but the toys and character designs were really good.

The other is Roadbuster. G1, but never in the cartoon. I am guessing this is an IDW look maybe?

Oh, I didnt know that Habro reissued a second wave for their MP Grimlock as well. I assumed you were talking bout the Takara Tomy ones.

Real glad on the news of a Grimlock reissue. Prices were going insane before the Asia reissue and the KO came out. Maybe Takara will do a reissue on the MP-08X to go with the MP G2 Sideswipe.
