People usually complaing about Aliens and how the aliens became like bugs. some people complain about having a queen,

But those eggs didn't lay themselves. Either someone put those eggs there or something made them.
So either the Engineers of Prometheus put the eggs in there and created the Alien creature or a Queen alien lay those eggs.

It is starting to sound like maybe Prometheus and Aliens cannot exist in the same universe.

Yes they can. Alien already stated that an Alien can create it's own egg from a human.

You can easily infer that from that egg comes a queen face hugger. And so on and so on.

The creatures may not have started off as the Aliens we know, but they evolved into more of a biological being.

Either way anyone watching ALIEN after Prometheus would actually be predisposed to assume that Ripley would suffer the same fate as Vickers, what with her demanding that the infected crew member not be allowed on board and being a bit of a ***** in the eyes of the crew.

Pretty cool that just playing your cards right doesn't necessarily work in the ALIEN universe. Sometimes you just have to be lucky too.

Love all that creepy test footage.

Lightning in a bottle. All the right elements at the right moment in time to create a classic in the genre. Superb. I love Alien!

Even though that is just a test rehearsal, it is still creepy as hell!

I also thought this deleted scene had an erie feel of its own too. If I recall correctly, Scott cut this scene because the Alien moved too much like a human. But that is the reason I felt it should have stayed.

that footage is terrifying for me, really really creeps me out.... makes me think of a nightmare I had before.

Honestly that test footage scares me a lot more than the movie ever did. way more... just getting uncomfortable looking at it right now.

Love seeing more of the Alien, as he's so exquisite. But I agree with Scott on its deletion. Part of that lightning. Lack of CG or other means led to practical effects, which led to darkness and showing the creature less and less. Very effective, through resourcefulness. Necessity...
