Honestly wish there was an actual body with neck that was specifically made to ford's actual build. Though I suggested the neck could be like how Gesus made it with just the clavicle showing. And again the SC shirt doesn't look like it will show much chest View attachment 674175View attachment 674176
That seems designed for this look though. Indy's shirt in the movies shows a good deal more neck/chest.

Even this shot here where the shirt isn't all that open would require the amount that Waruna initially showed.

He said he'll ask people if they want him to add the idea as an option. I rather keep articulation but tired of using full neck bodies that don't have ford's details.

i want to make an obiwan club indie the suits easy to get but a hatless sculpt is hard to come by the ht ones are too exp.

The closest body to Ford that I got was an Assassin's Creed Ezio body, I later found that OneSixthKit had a body that was identical. Sadly, after checking it appears that it's OOP. There may still be some around on eBay. A quick search turned these up:

There's probably more, but, you get the idea of what it is.

I'm still trying to figure out how this works as I haven't had a sculpt with a neck/chest piece like this. I'm assuming the worldbox chest piece would need to be dremeled down to make space for the custom neck/chest piece? Doesn't seem like it could feasibly lay on top without looking bulky.
That’s my main gripe with the new neck/chest trend. I just got my first one for a Daryl Dixon custom and I’ve actually grown to kinda like it, even with how much I like articulation.
The problem is I don’t think there’s a single body on the market that they’re actually compatible with. It’s easy enough to cut the neck section off of a body with the rubber chest piece, but a good quality body like that isn’t always the easiest to find for cheap.

These seem to cheap to be reliable

The first two links actually have pretty tight joints in my experience. I've used the narrow TT copy to replace some of my older HT truetypes that have had the plastic begin to crumble from being so old at this point, most recently being HT Kevin Flynn.

Even if they hold up in terms of quality, the issue is the neck/chest. I feel like it would look too plasticy without a repaint, and that’s if the neck isn’t too short for the sculpt/outfit combo you’re using.

oh with out a doubt. However, the quality of those bodies was what was in question in the post I quoted, not whether it would be good for Indy.

I definitely wouldn't use one of those for Indy. As I mentioned, I think they're great to replace older figures that use those same bodies but maybe the plastic has eroded away on the original HT TT. Also, most neckless sculpts these days have a much larger opening in the underside of the head to fit over a thicker neck that is more common these days than those old TT neck/chest bodies.

not sure about the stitching at the toe, but overall look pretty nice. Happy for those that are getting a pair, but i don't see the $5-$600 price tag there.

I think they look great. Not bulky like the HTs. Sucks that the best part will be covered by the pants. Oh well, I guess it like getting a totally accurate shirt and then putting the jacket over it.

Yeah though I imagine with the right clothing set this will be amazing.

Other than a painted head sculpt or jacket I don't feel like any other individual part on the Indy outfit is worth $500 or more. StripedBox's work is amazing and more refined and I believe she charges $300 for the Shining boots.

That said those Indy boots are very nicely executed if you're not taking price into account.

A couple of months ago I was joking about making all of the (un)necessary upgrades to my Indy, but of course I ended up doing just that. Treated myself to a Joe Strain whip, and Full Metal web belt, gun belt, and holster. All are absolutely incredible pieces, but I’m glad I didn’t skip out on the holster. I was fine with the MFisher but the FM holster was such a great upgrade, the thinness of the leather makes it sit much better outside of the jacket, and profile is very sleek even with a pistol inside.

Next stop: Waruna’s sculpt!

Great upgrades. :clap

Totally agree on the holster, I wasn't expecting to like it so much either. And that Strain whip is just a total work of art.
