The way HT have approached Doc’s hair is truly terrible.
They’ve turned what should be whispy and wild into a thick, solid block of flat, dried cake icing.
Perfectly described.

I’m tempted to buy an extra sculpt and try my hand at haring it but I’m sure I’d just ruin it.

Wow these things are shipping already.Mines still stuck on releasing Oct to Dec 2022

My order was placed on 8th September 2021 & shows December to January shipping which isn’t ideal.

I’m currently writing an email to Sideshow as it’s not acceptable really & to be honest, will probably be the last of my dealings with them. Being based in the U.K. even though often more expensive, I continued to purchase from them as whenever I had an issue it was sorted out quickly.

I’ve had issues with a few of my orders recently & once the rest of my preorders are fulfilled, I’m out.

You can paint wrinkles, crows feet and shadows/bags under the eyes, add a grey hue, throw is in some veins and age spots.
Just like painting on paper or canvas, a smooth sculpt doesn’t mean you can’t add extra details.
Cool, will be interesting to see some more mods to the HT sculpt. Im thinking filling in the gaps for the glasses should not be too hard?

It's really pathetic that consumers are looking for alternative heads/repaints of the figure just days after it was released-- not on the consumers part but pathetic on Hot Toys, how proud could they be of their own product when consumers are looking for alternatives? I'd love to see this brought to Howard Chan if someone interviews him in the future, let him know how disappointed fans are.

I don’t think he cares because people are complaining but are still buying it. People need to speak with their wallets instead of gaslighting themselves into thinking the figure is “fine”.
