Yeah from some angles the likeness is spot-on, from other angles not quite as much.

To be fair though, he didn't twist the dome on properly. You need to hold the two rings (silver and blue) and then twist the dome to lock it into place. Since he just plopped it back on, there was nothing holding it in place but small amount of friction.

But still, it was a decent figure when initially released as well as the second slightly updated release; but after that, the quality went down the drain. I'm normally pretty forgiving of SS, especially in the past, but this R2, and then the second Darth Vader (which I praised on my first version) is literally what soured me on any future releases from SS.

He had covid so was/is out of action for a bit.

I know he can be annoying and his shilling for Toys Wonderland is awful to say the least, but I definitely don't wish Covid on anyone. I had it early on and it was about 4-5 days of life absolutely sucking and then about a week of recovering.

That battered light-up Dark Trooper is awesome!

Yeah, that wasn’t a selling point to me previously but have to admit it does look awesome. I still never have even picked up a standard Dark Trooper.

Yea same. I usually don't care for accessory pieces like that bat I actually like the way it turned out and the different lighting options you have.

It seems to just be the way the light catches the nose. In the video reviews that we have , some angles it looks like a paint rub but the close ups show that's not the case

That teeth-exposed Luke was a weird train wreck from day one, almost laughably unconvincing as a ready-for-battle expression.

That windswept hair is far and away the best look for this Mando head - that combo is the best presentation of ROTJ Luke ever. The Mando Ken helmet hair is an abomination, and I haven't seen the regular ROTJ hair sitting quite right yet on this new head, though it still looks nice.

It's unfortunate that the real standout hairpiece on this head is so scene specific and doesn't really work for a museum pose.

The previous one was Luke who hung out at Tosche Fried Chicken all of his youth.
